JosLezio, this one's for you! He had cast him earlier on and i couldn't help but to agree for an unknown reason since i've never been a fan of JGL. And when he asked me to sketch him in the suit, he was as worried as i was that there was a very good chance he could end up looking ridiculous. But after seeing the finished product, the only thing i can say is "Good call Jos, good call"!

I always liked Levitt anyway. Wasn't U.S. Agent James Barnes?

Thank ya sir. Joey here would do a good job. I do agree he would have to bulk up. But, thats easy when you got money. He's got the acting skills, and I've seen him play characters that closely resemble U.S.Agent.

If I don't see a bulking Levitt soon I am going to lose a ton of faith from Marvel Comics moving to films, then start taking their comics less and less serious. I will then feel they are nothing but a giant money making corporation looking for quick green instead of holding to their nerd love for the comics themselves.

TheMyth- James Barnes??? Who's he? Was he actually cast as US agent? In what? And... eh... isn't he black? Not that i have anything wrong with that, i'm just saying... ya know.

pietro- Really? You find the sketch doesn't look like the picture above? Or you just find that the sketch doesn't look like the mental picture you have of him because of the last time you saw him in something? I'm not angry, i'm just wondering why you find that it doesn't look like him. His mask does hide a lot of facial features but i as well as my girlfriend find it looks a lot like his picture above. Anybody else things so too? I don't mind the criticism, don't worry :)

And i do agree with all of you in saying that he'd really have to work out to get the look right. But he's not a bad pic i find. It would of course depend on who they'd pic for Cap.

lol Shaman, James Barnes is Bucky, I probably should have clarified that anyway, Cap's sidekick who became Winter Soldier and later has assumed several other super identities. U.S. Agent was brought in by the American government to replace Cap when he disappeared and assumed the Nomad identity. When Cap was 'assassinated' at the end of Civil War, Barnes took up the Cap persona. That's where the New Cap who brandishes a sidearm comes from. I just can't remember if he was also US Agent.

Levitt even looks like Barnes almost. Just grow his hair out some and he could so definitely play Winter Soldier/U.S. Agent/Bucky Barnes.

Divo- If he's constantly in the shadows and there's a voice over, i wouldn't mind but to take over Ledger for a full role, never. Benicio Del Toro all the way!!! I might settle for Jude Law. LOL

Myth- I've always hated bucky... as bucky LOL Winter Soldier's fine with me though but the faggotty side-kick was to much for me. JGL would brilliantly portray bucky as well though. And wouldn't have to beef up for it LOL :P They might even take the liberty of making Bucky the US Agent after Cap gets frosen and then they'd have to square off in the near future or something. With him becoming Winter Soldier at the end. I really wouldn't be surprised if they did that. Hey that wouldn't be half bad either. The government finds Rogers and unthaws him to fight off US agent since he's the only other Super Soldier ever made, because US Agent becomes Winter Soldier in the future. They fear they've created a monster!!! Now that's a movie!!!

U.S. Agents name was John Walker. His brother died in the war with Captain America, and after growing John decided that Captain America was too soft. So when Captain America got frozen he took on the persona of Cap. Only to have Captain America come back later. In which the government. Shield I believe, offered him a job in the West Coast Avengers as U.S. Agent. I believe he goes by super patriot now. Which is pretty freaking lame.

as much as i like jensen ackles as an actor (supernatural is one of my fave shows) i personally dont like the thought of younger actors like these being cast in the avengers- would prefer more established actors (such as Robert Downey for Iron Man) rather than a pretty boy cast...sorry Shaman! Awesome drawing as usual though!

joshw24- Thanks dude but as much as i would prefer a more mature Hal Jordan, they're going younger. And i'm pretty sure Marvel will stick to their guns having Cap being 28 like he's supposed to. You can search all you want on "28 year old looking actors", none surpass Ackles in that field. Still, i wouldn't be in line to bitch if they took a different route, i'm just saying of all the companies making comic book movies, Marvel are the last possible company to drastically alter their own franchise.

joslezio85- I know but who needs two Caps really? I get why he was a replacement but with the return of Cap, it would be cooler to see US Agent's jealousy take the better of him and become an arch nemesis instead no? Ah well, this Cap movie is really getting me psyched!!!

Well Shaman. U.S. Agent actually hates Captain America. Which is why I think he's an awesome character. Don't get me wrong. Captain America is my personal favorite. Always has been. But, someone who hates him that much, simply for the fact that he loves his country so much. Is very....interesting to me. They actually duke it out in one of U.S. Agents first comics, and he manages to kick the crap out of ol' cap. that rhymed. But, it'd be interesting for a movie. Kinda like a sub plot I suppose.

Someone had posted Levitt pictures along side of Heath ledgers pictures and it was uncanny the resemblance, imo. They suggested he replace Heath Ledger as the Joker and it was spot on. I am afraid it has spoiled it for me to see him play anyone else in the comics.

I would like to see Johnny Strong as US Agent he’s played a military guy before and I would like to see him in more roles. And why was he not in the new fast and furious movie? I would like to see Barry Pepper as Hawkeye not that there is any thing wrong with Clive Owen I just thing he would be over kill as much as I like Hawkeye he is still a supporting character.

Well if johnny Strong can shake his "thug" attitude, i don't see why not. He'd look like a great US Agent and pissed off as hell :)

As for Pepper... have you seen him lately??? DAMN... he ain't aging well.

He did a great job in Blackhawk down but I know what you’re saying he does give off a thug life attitude. for pepper its Hollywood they put on the make up and lights he wouldn’t look to bad but when he’s on the street he does look pretty rough.Scott Speedmen could be a good hawkeye if he toughed up some you know lose the nice guy attitude.

Strong has a "natural" thug vibe to him. You know, kinda like the only "white guy" in the getto vibe? Cap wouldn't be caught dead with that vibe LOL But he does have the look hands down though :)
