BATMAN: DEATH IN THE FAMILY's Vincent Martella Would Love To Play Red Hood In THE BATMAN Franchise - EXCLUSIVE

When we asked Batman: Death in the Family star Vincent Martella whether potentially playing a live-action Red Hood opposite Robert Pattinson would be of interest, he admitted it would be "incredible."

Batman: Death in the Family is the latest animated feature from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and DC, but as their first interactive movie, it's definitely a different experience to what we're used to. Viewers are given the opportunity to choose how the story unfolds, with those choices having a major impact on the paths both Robin and Batman are taken down.

In this animated feature, Vincent Martella reprises his role as Jason Todd from the classic Batman: Under the Red Hood to play that iteration of the character, the Red Hood, and a number of others.

So, when we spoke to the actor about the project, we had to ask whether playing a live-action Red Hood opposite Robert Pattinson in The Batman franchise is something that would be of interest.

"I mean, that would be incredible. Obviously, that would be wonderful," Martella said. "If they approached me to do something like that, 10/10, I would say yes. I would love to do battle with Robert Pattinson's Batman as the Red Hood! We'll see. I just find it so strange that at 5'5”, they haven't come calling me to play Superman yet [Laughs]. That's so weird and strange to me [Laughs]. We'll see!"

If one of Matt Reeves' The Batman series is going to introduce Red Hood, then it will probably be a few years from now, but there are certainly other projects Martella could be a good choice to turn to. Curran Walters is set to suit up as the vigilante in Titans, but most fans would like to see the character's story play out properly, and potentially in the Arrowverse on The CW.

What do you guys think?

Batman: Death in the Family arrives on Digital on October 13th and Blu-ray on October 26th.
