Ben Affleck Talks BATMAN vs. Jon Bernthal's Punisher, Working With J.K. Simmons, And Anna Kendrick As Batgirl
Ben Affleck talks about his fight scenes with Jon Bernthal in The Accountant, what he thinks about his take on The Punisher, why The Batman is "not a movie you can fail quietly at," and more.
IGN recently caught up with Ben Affleck to discuss his role in The Accountant, and in the video below, the actor delves into a number of topics. As well as revealing that he struggled taking on Jon Bernthal, he praises the actor's take on The Punisher in Marvel and Netflix's Daredevil, and even weighs in on who he thinks would win if the Caped Crusader were to somehow cross paths with Frank Castle.
Affleck also jokes about what it will take for him to cast Anna Kendrick as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl in The Batman and went on to discuss where things currently stand with the movie he'll star in and direct. "Last night I spent (time) working on the script. I’m in full-on ‘trying to get it right mode’. It’s not the kind of movie that you can fail quietly at. You have to really be sure that I have something that I feel really confident about before we go forward." For more from Affleck, watch the video below.
