There has been a lot of negative reactions to the "controversial" casting of Ben Affleck as Batman in the forthcoming "Man of Steel" sequel. But is the harsh criticism warranted? I don't think so - at least not yet. We've heard a lot from the majority about why its a "bad idea", and how this is the worst casting ever - and that somehow somewhere the thought of Ben Affleck as Batman has ruined the image of character in people's minds forever. I've come up with 5 reasons I think Ben Affleck will be an awesome Batman ... and more importantly, Bruce Wayne. I'm strictly talking this possible Snyder/Nolan-verse image of the character.(PLEASE BE ADVISED - Strong Language at times)
About The Author:
My name is Rick - I'm a huge Batman fan from Buffalo, NY. When I was a kid I was immediately drawn to the character by both the 60's series, and the Tim Burton movies. When I got older I followed "The Long Halloween" run and it kind of brought me to that threshold of obsession. Since then I've been very passionate about the character and the stories.
