As long as she can summon the acting ability she portrayed in "Little Black Book" and manifest it into something darker. I feel Brittany is a Hit-or-Miss sometimes, meaning she gives a good performance in one movie, tanks one(in my opinion), does another good one, and so on like some vicious cycle that very well may exist only within my own mind.

Have you ever seen the movie... Don't Say a Word? It's kinda dark... she can do it. Girl look like she got issues already anyway...haha... (dont we all lol!)

I know I mentioned to you before Shaman...and you said no (MJ).. but if Britany couldnt do it I think Isla Fisher could nail it too if Britnay werent available and or turned it down. A back up plan ya know.... =:)

haha, love that you snuck the boobs in there! But i think Murphy sucks to be honest. She would seem like a good fit for Harley because shes acts "crazy" in her movies, but she substitutes ticks and deer eyes for acting imo. In Sin City she couldnt even maintain an accent for an entire scene. But she does look the part.

TheMyth- I totally agree with you, she is definitly "Hit or Miss". But Sin City showed us a side of her that would be perfect for Harley. Haven't seen "little black book" cause... cause it's called "little black book"! LOL :P

EvilEd2000-Yeah, they would've made quite the pair on screen!!!

KeepItReal- Yes i do think Isla would do the role justice as well :)) Good one!!!

JOS- My man, the one that came up with this choice in the first place and blew me away!!! I just didn't remember it was you because i couldn't find the article that "someone" chose her in. It was just too far back :) But now that i remember, i'll go put up the shout out!!! Hope we're still good :P

Rorschach01- I agree with you, her talent is limited enough to say that her performance could have been a fluke in Sin City. But with a good director on board, i do believe they could get that out of her again.

I like that idea for the next Batman movie, I mean if Christopher Nolen does bring the Joker back, please make someone as Harley Quinn because she deserves to be by her so called "Mr.J" and all that. And Im sure that Christopher Nolen will make his last Batman movie a "Hell of a Show"

@Shaman- lol, it's a chic flic. It sucks, but the old lady gets to pick stuff for the DVD collection too! The movie itself is totally bearable to watch with your lady and has a few other tip-top names in it like Kathy Bates and Holly Hunter. To me, it's the best performance Murphy has given to date. I think the small amount of screen time she had in... gulp... don't hit me for saying this... "8-Mile" is a good reference for how well she could do the character.

@Rorschach01: "...but she substitutes ticks and deer eyes for acting..." I know exactly what your talking about, though I feel she has had some good performances to list along with the stinkers.

TheMyth- LOL yeah i figured as much LOL But hey, i've loved a few chic flics myself such as The Notebook and The devil wears Prada... yeah i said it... so what?!?!? :P I might check it out IF my galpal ever talks about wanting to see it :) And 8mile... never seen it. The song was good but i never felt the need to see it LOL :P

has anyone seen her in "girl, interrupted?" That movie is what made me love her for this role. i think she would be perfect, and she's already got that new jersey accent about her. It's real, even though she tries to hide it, like i read on here somewhere. But for this role. The accent would be stellar.

@Shaman. Dude, I don't need a shout out, I couldn't care less. I was merely saying thank you for backing me up on...what i think would be an a-ma-zing performance.

I love it. But Honestly, If they ever did it like that I dont mind the paint...but the mask has got to go...I know I'm pretty anal about the "STICK TO COMIC" and be faithful stuff. But I think it would be kinda goofy, unless if her mask is like "dark" dark..you know?

Or like maybe a mixture of a mask but with also paint on the face. I dunno. But, she was exactly, who I was voting on when someone said Harley Quinn. Britanny Murphy popped up in my head as well....she has the perfect smile for it :)

dude shaman i got to give it to you man your pic of del toro for joker and now for harley quinn are perfect and i so believe she could do it man i mean the way she talked in sin city to me sounded like the way harley quinn would talk.

joslezio85- lol, good then :P But yeah, it's been such a long time since i saw that movie that i even forgot she was in it LOL :P Thanks for bringing another stellar reason why she's perfect for the role!!!

Aiiwolf- Well it is a point that i'm trying to bring to everyone's attention by doing these sketches. To show everyone that not every costume can be directly put on screen without any "modernisations". So this way they can get a good feel of the actor in the role but at the same time, if they ever get it and they decide that they can't use the exact costume, fans will know first hand why. Of course it could also backfire and show that the actual comic book costume is more than fitting for the screen and doesn't warrant any changes but ...anyhoo :P

dogchasingcars- Yeah her voice, quirks and smile are all perfect for the role. IN FACT, no other actress has the same amount of attributes in common with the role than Murphy has. Isla Fisher would be good and alot are saying Kristen Bell but i think she would suck personnaly. Murphy imo, is perfect!
