Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. The film is produced by Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Charles Roven, who previously teamed on “Batman Begins” and the record-breaking blockbuster "The Dark Knight." The executive producers are Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Kevin De La Noy and Thomas Tull, with Jordan Goldberg serving as co-producer. The film is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.




The Dark Knight Rises opens in theaters July 20th. The film stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon Levitt and Marion Colltiard.

yeah, just goes to show how close he and Heath probably got filming TDK and how much his death and great work still affects people today, i thought that was touching he kinda broke down watching Heath being The Joker

Yes. It's amazing. Absolute winner. Definitely felt the horror vibe from Bane -- which I didn't understand from how Nolan described. He's a movie monster. Oh man, this in IMAX will blow minds!

Hans Zimmer put together an amazing "at-the-end-of-your-seat" score. And Hathaway literally stands like a cat in that shot when she says "Don't be shy". Best Catwoman portrayal coming July 20!

I think when Catwoman says "don't be shy" she is actually talking to Batman. I'll bet that is the scene where she is luring Batman into Bane's layer. I really thought my excitement for this film couldn't be at a higher level. Gonna be a slow 48 days, lol.

I actually decided to watch the awards tonight and it was brutal. The scripts were horrible that even the actors I like could not save this show. And Russel Brand was not funny.
