Today shooting continued in Los Angeles for Christopher Nolan's final Batman installment.

Here's what SmokeySFx observed while being on set.

1. No snow
2. Bruce is hurt and using a cane
3. Bruce is attending a party without any girls in tow
4. Reporters asking where he has been
5. Bruce looked older to me.- SmokeySFx








The Dark Knight Rises is scheduled to hit cinemas July 20th, 2012, and will feature an all-star cast that includes Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman Marion Cottilard, Anne Hathaway, Josh Pence, Tom Hardy, Morgan Freeman & Jospeh Gordon Levitt.

Oh my God. I'd love it if they ended it with Bruce as an old man a few decades later, with him being a recluse and that being his first public appearance in a long time.

Although there's always the chance that it's not a party, after all how would the press know he was attending if he's been away long enough that they had to ask where he's been. Maybe he's holding a press conference and is about to reveal to the world that he was Batman (after the fight with Bane) but is retiring due to his injuries sustained in the battle. Maybe Selina as Catwoman takes over and he becomes her mentor as well as them being in a relationship.

It could be an epilogue... bet its an interesting one too. Damn I really loved Nolan's take on The Dark Knight. Especially the stories told within the films. Even though it wasn't as faithful through particularly his rogues gallery in the comics, it managed to show Batman for who he is and what he stood for as one of DC's Finest. And for that I can't wait to see how Nolan ends his trilogy. I also can't wait for what's next for the Bat on the big screen. Hopefully by then, we'll even get to see other DC characters alongside with him. :D

But I'm seeing this whole movie before I get to see it. This could have had a little spoiler warning on it don't you think? I like my movie news, I don't like having a whole movie leaked via shitty cell photos.

I find it highly suspect that The Dark Knight 'Rises' would end with Bruce being crippled in some way - particularly seeing as how the second film ended on a downer. It'll piss off audiences if the end of the third film is just as much of a kick to the balls to Bruce Wayne as the rest of his life was, lol.

Guys think about the teaser. Gordon tells Bruce (assuming) "the batman must come back" and bruce (again assuming) says "what if he doesn't exist anymore". Its obvious somethign happens that causes Batman to be absent for a long period of time. At the end of TDK Bruce had to come to terms with taking Batman to a whole new level, a level that meant him not being the hero. He wouldn't just hang up the cape especially if things have gotten worse in Gothan (the teaser gordon said now this evil rises). If I had to bet this scene takes place some time after Batman and Banes first confrontation and before the final confrontation. The thing that still drives me nuts and I want to know is what is the deal with bruce being behind bars and doing pushups.

As to when this scene takes place makes sense. It makes sense in the beginning
Cos he fell quite a bit at the end of TDK. makes sense in the middle of the movie cos he
Might have just fought bane for the first time and at the end cos he might just have defeated
Bane.. Only thing that makes it more likely to be at the end is him looking older.. But even that can still apply to all cos the film could pick up from anywhere. They could have been chasing the bat for years now..

hes not going to look OLD OLD like the batman beyond cartoon bruce...he will just look a lil older is all..maybe a beard?? face a lil old n dried up
and the cane is prob. from beaten up by bane and hes trying to rest. he prob. got beat up by bane then went MIA for a while cause he was to scared to go out in public wit a cane but he finally decided to...? who knows im just guessing
but i think n im sure we all think he has the cane and is limpin cuz of bane...if not then maybe he just stopped being batman after TDK and just been slacking..until he sees gordon on the bed or sumthing
