New Trailer For THE DARK KNIGHT RISES On The Way "Very Soon"?

New Trailer For THE DARK KNIGHT RISES On The Way "Very Soon"?

Fans have been eagerly anticipating a brand new trailer for Christopher Nolan's final Bat-flick, and now writer/producer Danny Allen reckons it could be with us sooner that we think..

With promotion for The Dark Knight Rises picking up recently, it was only a matter of time before a new trailer for the movie was released. Some thought it would have been with us by now (there were rumors that it would be attached to Wrath Of The Titans), but WB seem to be biding their time. Now we have the following Tweet from British director/writer/producer Danny Allen, who says not only will we have a new trailer very soon, but that some theaters may already have it.

There's going to be a DARK KNIGHT RISES trailer hitting cinemas very very soon. Had word that some cinemas have already received it.

When asked how he knew he replied: "Photos uploaded from people who work in cinemas showing the Trailer reel with all the official markings. from diff cinemas" If this is on the level and Warner Bros. are planning to screen the new trailer in theaters first, the movie it will be most likely attached to would be Dark Shadows which comes out May 8th. Soon enough, but I wouldn't call it VERY soon! Hopefully we get some proper confirmation before that as to where and when anyway.

If it's in the front of the Avengers that would be awesome! Crossed fingers! :)

@superotherside I doubt that would happen, though, especially since The Avengers is both Marvel AND Disney, while TDKR is WB and DC Comics. They're two sets of rivals that would make things awkward if they were to have trailers before the other.

Jarel93 I know it probably won't happen but there's no problem with hoping! Besides I'm sure if DC was smart... they would realize that they would be getting the same audience that went to the Avengers to TDKR. So it would be nice if the trailer was in front of it. So they could give Marvel/Disney a few million to show it in front of their movie, everyone wins. Sadly I still doubt it'll happen... but as I said we can always hope... :)

@superotherside Despite what many people will say, hope is indeed a virtue!

Can't wait. Been dying for some new footage for the past couple months.
I have a feeling it'll be with Dark Shadows, unless WB decides to do the ironic and attach it to The Avengers.

The Dark Knight trailer premiered in front of Iron Man. The Inception trailer premiered in front of Iron Man 2. I don't think it's that much of a stretch.

The firs trailer was pretty good, but I didn't think it was mindblowing. I'm hoping this new one is spectacular, though! Would be cool if it was infront of The Avengers!

Yeah, it seems Dark Shadows is the only WB property that will 1. be released before TDKR and 2. can attract a general audience.

Putting the trailer in front of Avengers would be genius. Your entire fanboy crowd in one spot. Plus Avengers is going to have 15x the audience 'Dark Shadows' will get.

I would bet money it's going to show in front of Dark Shadows.

Wow if they made a TDKR trailer in combo with the Avengers, every fanboy in the theater would die.

@ RamonSuarez - You're right imo. They are going to drop the best trailer last plus...it would be smart for it be shown first in front of Avengers

I am also thinking Dark Shadows. It's the first WB release that has seen any publicity and if WB is smart they are going to attach the TDKR trailer to one of their own movies to try & boost attendance.

As long as it's better then the last one because that was terrible, TDK trailer was better then it.

If the film is more like Batman Begins then it'll be great, I'm in the minority that found it better then TDK.

Actually, I think it would be smart to attach the DKR trailer to Dark Shadows. First off, the marketing campaign for that movie hasn't been all that great and I don't know that many people who want to see it. If they put word out there that there is a TDKR trailer attached to it, more people maybe inclined to see Dark Shadows and boost its box-office. Would be pretty smart marketing.

The Dark Knight trailer played in front of Iron Man when it first came out. So i wouldn't be suprised if it's attached to the Avengers.
