The CBM community has spoken and they feel that the Joker interrogation scene in The Dark Knight was the scene they most remember from a CBM. Second place went to The Joker's magic trick also in The Dark Knight and third place went to Doc Oc vs. Spiderman in Spiderman 2. I have to say that the voters were right on this one, there have been many memorable scenes in various CBM's including some that were tough not to include like Hulk vs Abomination in The Incredible Hulk and the Jottenheim scene in Thor along with quite a few others, but I decided to only include 10 in the poll, and I felt these were the most worthy, and the winner of this poll I think is very appropriate - the interrogation scene was one of the key scenes in The Dark Knight as Batman's temper got the best of him thanks to the pesky Joker. So CBM community, I give you a high-five for your votes - you got this one right.

Do you think the results are right or do you think someone else on the poll deserved to win more than the interrogation scene? Or do you think a scene not on this list was the most memorable? Share your thoughts in the usual place.

I am now accepting nominations for my next poll, best comic book villain (not overall performance, overall villain - heck, Harley Quinn can get nominated if you think she is a good villain) so feel free to nominate your favorite comic book villains in the comments below and I will get that poll up later this week.

I like that the winner wasn't something that relied on explosions or CGI, but two great actors one-on-one in the purest form. Hell of a scene.

i agree that is one of the best comic book moments ever, shame the rest of the film wasn't to that quality.

I don't think that the winning scene was as good as any of the other scenes at all. I am not sure if that should have been a choice at all. Any part of Green Lantern could have been on that list instead. Or even something with Bobcat Goldthwaith. You should do a poll of the best scenes not involving Batman and maybe you'll get an honest result.

Joker pencil trick was cool but just a small part of larger scene; good shock value but it's like Howard Stern saying vagina: saw it coming; black widow scene wasn't breathtaking at all, no more spectacular than a resident evil movie; superman and the plane was a descent scene in a terrible movie; any of the tony stark scenes to choose from are probably not the best choice for the iron man franchise. The others are gold Jerry. Watchmen was powerful with the Dylan music, Doc Octopus scene like it was ripped from the pages, and Nightcrawler kicking ass like you imagined he would. Those were unparalleled compared to the others. Top three right there. Peace

Doc Ock and Spidey should have one. Epic fight scene.
