The supposed teaser trailer for The Dark Knight Rises was met with a lot of scepticism when a bootleg version found its way online a few days ago. Many thought it was a fantastic tease for the highly anticipated movie from director Christopher Nolan, while equally as many decided it was a fake. The fact that it didn't play in any US theatres over the weekend and wasn't removed by Warner Bros. seemed to indicate it was a fake, but the truth was still unknown. Well, YouTube's "PrettyMuchIt" has done some digging and found some downright solid evidence that it is indeed far from official.

Go to the 0.34 second mark to see the Warner Bros/Lengendary Pictures Logo.

Add all that together, and I guess you're left with this!

So there you have it! I think it's pretty fair to say that is pretty conclusive! Either way, I think it's fair to say that the hoaxer did an impressive job of fooling us all...just not that good! Be sure to share your thoughts on this in the usual place!

With an all star cast which includes Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Garly Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate, The Dark Knight Rises is set to be released on July 20, 2012!
