THE DARK KNIGHT RISES' Concept Art Featuring Batman's High-Tech Knee Brace & EMP Gun

Crime fighting can take quite the toll on the body, which is something Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) experienced in Christopher Nolan's Batman Trilogy. But never fear Lucius Fox is always there with a quick fix, this time he invents a high-tech knee brace.

Oh, that knee brace would be so much better... The one in the movie felt so cheap and fake.

Wait, was Batman originally meant to wear the knee brace on top of the suit? That would have looked a little strange, to say the least. Batman hobbling around with a roll cage on his knee.

EMP rifle #3 looks awesome, although Nolan probably wanted to go with something that looked less like an actual gun.

@dubWookWokk

1. Uh. He actually did. The first fight he tried to maych Baen's ferocity much like when Bruce fought the Mutant Leader in TDKReturns. In the second fight he used mostly counters and then attacked his mask.

2. Why would he need to upgrade it? If anything I would expect him to swtch to his BB suit with the TDK cowl if he needed extra armor.

A Knee Brace that magically conjurers cartilage into a knee that is clearly documented by a licensed professional with a doctorate as not having cartilage...

Color scheme was poor choosing of words. Look at the design, the gun, the top, where the yellow stripe is located, that whole section of the gun is the exact same as the Halo Reach Rifle.

dubWookWook- Simple. He never upgraded because he didn't have to. He never planned on being Batman after Dent's death, so why upgrade his suit if he thought he would never use it again?

@dub

1. how? bane knows every move and was always 2-3 steps ahead. if bane didnt have to wear that mask he would he EASILY beat an already broken down batman.

2. in the 8 year gap batman was "retired" so why would he upgrade it? and when it comes to upgrading his suit after meeting bane, how? when? by the time he gets back to gotham after being thrown in the pit he has less than 24 hours to save the city...

batman "i want to save the city...but let me fix my suit first, the people can wait..."

how about you actually try to understand the movie before nitpicking.
