It's interesting they don't show the bottom and back of it at all in a lot of the material released for TDKR. I wonder if theyre saving those shots for the movie?

Lets see if the Bat has anything that can top the Tumbler giving birth to the Batpod

Nothing to worry about at all. If you like it, congrats on liking it. If you hate it, congrats on hating it. I [frick]ing hate it. Absolutely nothing about it screams Batman to me, in any way. The Batwing should have been souped up; this belongs in Aliens vs Predator or the future portions of a Terminator film.

I still don't get the Bat. That thing is so front/bottom heavy it would only be able to do one thing and that is take a dive.

@SirWinsalot: unlike you, I'm not a kid. You see, when you get to be an adult, you can dislike an aspect of something and still like it overall. For example, I like Batman, but I don't like this Bat thing he flies in like an action figure. Understand? Maybe your mommy can help you read that if you didn't. I see YOU like Batman quite a bit, you've got his face to represent your face and everything, how adorable!

*Edit* I think that the original insult I made was too far, and it may offend some, so I'm deleting it.

@SirWinsalot: I didn't come in the thread to fight, I came to get a closer look at the Bat...and I don't like it. If me not liking it means 'I'm a Marvelite' or some dumbass name you guys come up with, then you or anyone else that says it is being childish, I don't care how old you are.

I don't like the Bat. I don't like Bane. I'm not too wild about Catwoman either. But I'm still taking my nephews to see it. So, we can call a truce on the hostilities here and now. You started this shit, so it's your choice.

@MarvelWeiner: As much as people like Azazel1 wants to say otherwise, yes, it is. Kids are immature, not necessarily dumb. My brother and I explained TDK to our nephews in about ten minutes, and they not only got it, they had a better grasp on it in later viewings, even though the MAIN REASON they watched it was for stuff to blow up, Joker to act crazy, and pg-13 violence.

@Darkhaven

I wouldn't pay too much attention to this Marvelite and Nolanite crap that still persists. Like what you want bro you haven't got to justify it to anyone.

Looking forward to the movie and interested to see how this beast flys about in it.

@FusionAcara: hey dude :) My main gripe with the Bat, I'll be honest, is one of bias really: it's not the Batwing. The Batwing is very representative of Batman: it's sleek, elegant, and stealthy, with concealed power and badassery! The Bat is too overt: in the clips shown, it is opposite of the Batwing. It's obviously more gunship than anything; it looks more like it belongs in a movie about mecha and giant monsters rather than a Batman film.

With Bane, he's too god damn generic. I'm not saying that Hardy should be 'roided out, but I am saying he does not fit the bill for Bane. I know Bane's dad is European, I know Bane is from a fictional island (DC deals mostly with fictional areas), and I know what one of the creators said. Doesn't matter.

Some CBM fans think that Bane could only appear as he did in the Batman and Robin abortion flick. They have no imagination. If Bane were to have shown up as a suave talking, huge lucha, TDKR's currently high anticipation would have gone through the roof. Period. Bane's original design was character conceptualization that was intriguing and appealing to several backgrounds. As it is now, I've heard non-CBM people refer to Bane as 'the guy they took from DC vs Mortal Kombat'. That's bad.

What the hell are you doing?

Aside from posting a gross pic no one would ever want to see, why do you continue to enter these news stories for subjects you actively hate?

Im not sure why people still complain about what they're seeing...Nothing is going to change. The movie is made and what we have is what we're getting. Time to get over it and either watch the movie or don't.

And for people still doing the annyoing Marvel vs DC fight, it's also time to move on. We all win in a summer of 3 massive CBM's.

there is nothing realistic about that aircraft. Its pseudo-fantastic realism applicable enough for someone who has no knowledge of fluid mechanics or aeronautics. The only thing I can think of close to that is the Harrier and the harrier works on chain driven system of interconnected engine angles and looks like a grasshopper when it takes off. The Bat-wing was at least a fixed wing solid body aircraft like the stealth, this thing is just a wannabe. I know that everyone wants to say that Batman is super deep and dark and yadda yadda. But its not. Its Gotham City starring Batman..the plots are..madman takes over Gotham..the reasons are different, but its basically Madman takes over Gotham. I dont like this version of Batman, many dont because its so grounded in realism it isn't the version of the comic book character they love. that's their prerogative, and you should leave them to it. Whether people like something or not is relative and subjective, no reason to insult or put down anyone. If you can't accept that people dont like things you like..get out of a website that is meant to be used for discussing such things, its only going to cause problems for everyone.

@SirWinsalot: You may have missed the part where I said I retracted my insult to you. My girl felt it was too overboard, and her opinion matters more than some random dude on the internet. Not to mention, I doubt the Galactus of our site, nor other members, would have appreciated the crack, so I removed it. If I were insecure in the slightest about my looks, I'd get a Batman avatar and join the rest of the sheep.

And my nephews will enjoy watching the best CBM ever, thanks! I'll have the Avengers Blu-ray release for them on the first day :D I'm betting the three disk set for Batman will hit sometime in January or something though, they'll dig that.
