First Two-Face Sighting in Dark Knight Trailer

As reported earlier the trailer for Batman the Dark Knight has finally gone officially live. So I decided to sit down and see what I could find. Turns out, something very exciting popped up towards the end!

Thankfully Warner Bros. has allowed us downloadable versions of the trailer from the official Happy Trails site. (CLICK HERE FOR NEW BATMAN TDK TRAILER) So, sitting at home, with my dual monitors and the high quality version of the trailer, I found what I believe is the first sighting of Harvey Dent as Two-Face.

As you can see in the image above, Harvey Dent, aka Aaron Eckhart, is only showing half his face. However look closely and you will see digital flaws where normal face should be. In addition, if you check his right shoulder, shown just below his chin, you’ll see that the coloring differs drastically from the grey plain suit you can see on his right.

Now for those who will tell me that the digital imperfections along the outline of his face is just something from the playback, I would point out that at this time in production, not all of the digital special effects will have been completed.

Add this to the knowledge that, reported here back in August of last year, spoke of special effects company Framestore CFC doing work on Harvey Dent, and we’ve got some pretty solid evidence that this is in fact the first image of Two-Face, even if it is a little cagey.

For me, the evidence is mostly in the jacket, which is verging on the purple and green that was often sported by Two-Face.
