"It's not who I am underneath it's what I do that defines me." - Batman
Those are words of a true hero but he is in what sense not a hero but something a little more, Hello, Hello this is my first review and today's review is Batman Begins.
Plot:
The story is about 8-year old young Bruce Wayne's parents getting shot in front of him, a few years later he is shown in prison, "how is this possible" well he was arrested because of some shipments and ironically it's his name. So he gets bailed out by a man named Ra's Al Ghul, he then travels to The League Of Shadows temple, and he recieves training from him and he is learnt the ways to fight injustice, thus returning to Gotham City, and becoming the hero we know as Batman.
Review:
The first I watched Batman Begins I rented it because I had cancer, (more like my Dad rented it) I was only 5 when I watched it and yes I lied about my age it's actually 11, I'm getting off-topic, anyway I watched it 3 nights ago I realized it's still beats Dark Knight for me, I don't know it told more of the darker side instead of the Tim/Schumacher era. Plus I'm a sucker for the Batman "gargling marbles" voice, Anyway the thing I liked about Batman Begins was how he's just not a person in the movie he's supernatural (in my way) like to the bad guys in the movie, for ex. The docks and the escape, in those parts it felt that he was half man half bat, for the backup scene i loved replaying that scene cause he easily fits in with the bats.
Cons:
No cons for this, cause it's that realistic.
Closing Thoughts:
This was superb to The Dark Knight in every way (in my opinion) and it still is, there is without a doubt my favorite Batman film. ****out of 4
