UPDATE: New TDKR Synopsis Finally Confirms Talia Al‘Ghul?

The early tracking data for The Dark Knight Rises is in, and we have managed to get hold of a brand new synopsis which is accompanying these highly confidential market research surveys..

The tracking figures for Christopher Nolan's third and final Bat-flick are in and it seems the movie is set to be a bonafide buster of blocks -- no guano right? But, The Dark Knight Rises is still tracking JUST behind Marvel's The Avengers, apparently lagging in the category of "unaided awareness" -- the percentage of people who could list it as an upcoming release without any prompting. But much more interestingly is the following synopsis for the movie which accompanies these research surveys..

In this third installment of the latest Batman franchise, a new threat arises in Gotham in the form of Bane, a nearly indestructible new enemy, who joins forces with Talia Al‘Ghul, the deadly new leader of the League of Shadows (a group Batman barely defeated in the first film); and who also happens to be the daughter of the martial arts master who originally trained Bruce Wayne. Further complicating matters, Batman must join forces with an untrustworthy new ally, in the form of Catwoman, if he is to have any chance at saving Gotham from this powerfully dangerous combined new threat.

There you go, I guess Marion Cotillard was just keeping scthum on the whole situation when she flat out denied that her character Miranda Tate was actually Talia -- although, this doesn't necessarily mean that SHE will play the character! It's not really a massive revelation anyway as we all pretty much knew Miss Al‘Ghul would make an appearance, but there ya go. Thoughts?

UPDATE: It seems this synopsis is not new at all, and has actually been floating around since last year when it was said to be attached to research survey back then too. So, this does call into question its legitimacy. I do trust my source -- who also provided details on some other movies (non CBM related) that were part of the survey, but we'll have to consider this a rumor now. Still no official confirmation for Talia!
