VIDEO GAMES: Watch The Incredible First Trailer For BATMAN - THE TELLTALE SERIES

It's been a long time coming, but the first trailer for Batman's highly anticipated episodic series from Telltale is finally here, and it looks like it could be every bit as good as the Arkham games.

Telltale Games has done amazing work with properties like Fables, Game of Thrones, and The Walking Dead, and the fact that they're now turning their attention to a DC Comics property like Batman is very good news indeed. Like the properties mentioned above, Batman will take place over a series of episodes, giving players the chance to make their own decisions (and mistakes) along the way.

This looks a lot different to the action-packed Arkham series, but it definitely has the potential to be every bit as good if this first look trailer released ahead of Comic-Con is any sort of indication.

Enter the fractured psyche of Bruce Wayne and discover the powerful and far-reaching consequences of your choices as the Dark Knight. In this gritty and violent new story from the award-winning creators of The Walking Dead – A Telltale Games Series, you'll make discoveries that will shatter Bruce Wayne's world, and the already fragile stability of a corrupt Gotham City.

Rendered to look like a living, breathing comic book, Telltale’s vision of Batman features an award-winning cast of talent, including Troy Baker as Bruce Wayne, Travis Willingham as Harvey Dent, Erin Yvette as Vicki Vale, Enn Reitel as Alfred Pennyworth, Murphy Guyer as Lieutenant James Gordon, Richard McGonagle as Carmine Falcone, and Laura Bailey as Selina Kyle. Here's the first trailer:
