We found out earlier that Batman V Superman had passed $500M at the box office, and now Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) and Henry Cavill (Superman) have posted messages of thanks to the fans.

Despite being pretty much universally panned by critics, audiences have gone out in droves to see Zack Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, and as a result the movie soared past $500 million at the global box office earlier today after just 5 days on release.

That's quite an accomplishment, and two of the film's stars have taken to social media to acknowledge the overwhelming fan-support in the face of such negativity.

Gal Gadot and Henry Cavill posted the following to their Facebook pages.
