BATMAN V SUPERMAN's Henry Cavill Proves Clark Kent's Glasses Are Disguise Enough

Henry Cavill's in Times Square, NYC, wearing a Superman t-shirt and no one recognizes him. Surely Clark Kent's glasses are enough to keep his co-workers at The Daily Planet from making the connection.

Henry Cavill proves that if you don't draw attention to yourself, no one will bother you. According to his Instagram post, the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice world press tour is currently in NYC. Cavill took this time to get some coffee at Times Square and no one recognized him despite the fact that he was even wearing a Superman T-shirt.

Dear Doubter, The glasses are good enough. Regards, Superman #WhoWillWin #Superman

And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.

Zack Snyder directrs from a script written by David S. Goyer and Chris Terrio. The film stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Jason Mamoa, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne and Holly Hunter.

Isn't this just evidence that Henry Caville is something of a nobody still?

If Donald Trump wore glasses, would nobody recognize him?

@Chewtoy - Trump is just 2 oompa loompas stacked on top of each other. Pretty easy to notice.

@Chewtoy - If Superman existed he would never have the amount of TV screen time Trump has. So yes, of course he would be much less recognizable than Trump.

@Chewtoy - so long as no one votes for the dickhead, who cares...

@DavidGray - Superman would have a million times more screen time than Trump. He'd the biggest superstar ever...

@MiopTop - Makes no sense to me. The guy has superspeed. He can get a bunch of people out of a burning building and then fly away, why would he stand around for the camera?

@MiopTop - It's true, Lois Lane was able to discover his identity after only meeting him once (which is one reason why I love this iteration of her). Still, you gotta wonder if Superman isn't using some low-level telepathy field to distract people who look at him when he's Clark Kent. That was always my theory about why the glasses work.

@DavidGray - There's situation where he might not have a choice. And even if nobody saw his face he would be the number 1 topic of conversation. From a legal stand point, should the same laws apply to him ? From a religious standpoint, is he a god ? Or does he prove there isn't a god ? From a political standpoint, should people count on him or hunt him down ? ...

@MiopTop - Well yeah, sure, but people talking about him doesn't mean they'd ever see his face, let alone recognize it in a crowd.

@DavidGray - That wasn't what we were talking about tho. We were talking TV screen time
