When ever i get into an argument about who would win someone idiot always brings up that superman can just stomp batman or burn him but the thing is superman has boundries always had except for injustice at some parts superman would never kill a former friend or a fellow hero he would always hold back

Superman is by far superior and if he wanted to, he could beat Bats in a second. Superman holds back though, in the end, I'd say he still wins, but he allow his opponents to get the upper hand, by holding back, when they are far underpowered compared to him.

Batman has only ever stood a chance at winning because Superman would never actually do that, he's not going to kill Bruce or irreparably harm him, which is what gives Bats the upper hand, most of the time.

To all the Batman fanboys. The biggest flaw in the argument that Batman brings kryptonite to the fight and auto-wins is stupid.

It implies that Superman knows nothing about Kryptonite or doesn't think Batman is smart enough to bring it to a fight. Superman isn't stupid enough to think Batman would show up without it.

Look at it this way, if you had Superman powers and went to fight Batman, would you yourself expect Kryptonite and be ready for it?....basically wearing a lead suit or killing Batman from Orbit with your 10 types of visions?

Batman and Superman are both extremely intelligent and the arguments given by their fanbase make both characters look ignorant.

In any kind of intelligent, plot-hole free, to the death scenario, Superman wins every time.

I do believe that a ruthless, radical Batman with access to Kryptonite could very well assassinate an unsuspecting Superman.

But in an actual fight Superman would win. How could he not?
