You may recall that last year, Matt Damon said "Jason Bourne would kick the s–t out of Batman." Well, Ben Affleck has finally responded, and he's now laid down the challenge to his real life best bud.

Way back in September, Matt Damon said in an interview that, "Jason Bourne would kick the s–t out of Batman — absolutely. Batman’s gotta take on Superman first. If he could beat him then maybe he could take on Jason Bourne." Despite being made in jest, those comments got people talking, and when E! Online recently caught up with Ben Affleck at the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice junket, you can bet your life that the actor had a response to that: "Matt is going around saying this all over the place but not to my face. But Matt can’t even beat me up, never mind Batman. You know what I’m saying? He has a long way to go…They’re just finishing the Bourne movie now when we have our premiere over in London. I’ll see Matt and he can take me up on it." So, who do you think wins?

[frick]ing love these two. It's so nice to see such a great friendship remain so intact, especially with them both working in Hollywood for so long. Been rooting for them ever since they won the Oscar for Good Will Hunting. Love almost all of their other projects (solo and together.) Good on them.

Some may argue that Matt started all this by sleeping with Sarah Silverman, but why even bring up the past? That ignores the fact that these two men need to seriously sit down and communicate their feelings.

OK. Kevin Smith needs to direct a Batman/Green Arrow movie. Ben Affleck plays Batman and Matt Damon could play an older Oliver. Maybe break out the goatee. They both have the acting chops and physical ability. Kevin Smith wrote for Green Arrow. They have all worked together before. I think it could be awesome.
