David S. Goyer Is Warner Bros.' Kevin Feige?

David Goyer is DC Kevin Feige

Bleeding Cool has been proven right on a few recent movie scoops so it warrants discussion when they post that their movie sources have heard that Man of Steel and Batman vs Superman screenwriter David S. Goyer is being referred to as "DC's Kevin Feige". The site reports that interested producers have met with Warner Bros. about film adaptations for Suicide Squad, Booster Gold, Deathstroke and the recent Wildstorm-esque Team 7 of DC's New 52 relaunch. These producers are reportedly being told that the first step in getting their project moving forward is to enlist the aid of Goyer. In this instance, it appears that the box office bottom line on the recent Christopher Nolan Batman films and Man of Steel may have put Goyer in the driver's seat of the DC Cinematic Universe.

I'm cool with this. Goyer is way better than Feige, one is an experienced CBM writer and the other is a bit of a hack

Anyone know what happened to the Superman Batman movie titles article. .....was it removed for being legit?

On the article at hand......Not sure how I feel having Goyer producing.......if it gets us lots of good DC movies in the next five years.....then maybe.

Goyer has Blade 1, 2 Batman Begins, TDK, TDKR, and MOS under his belt so I seem no real reason to be that upset.

Plus MOS was a fantastic movie

So much [frick]ing whining and trolling! In only the first 20 comments! I'm actually looking forward to seeing where this universe goes so you won't hear any complaints from me.

And of course Sage would be the first comment. [frick]ing faggot.

Ya, this is awful news. He can't do it alone. All of his best stuff (aka nolan trilogy) was with Jonathan Nolan helping out on writing duties.

even Snyder would be a better boss. Or better yet, Affleck. that guy knows movies.

if he's in charge, we will never see a wonder woman movie.

It is more than likely about wanting to keep all the DC properties in the same shared Universe.

Whether you complain about it or not, they're still going to go about doing things the way they see fit, so just enjoy what you can out of it.

I enjoyed Man of Steel thoroughly, and I honestly think Zack has a great vision in mind. I don't understand the dislike for that movie. Snyder is %100 correct on Superman being able to kill. It's a rule that is made up. Hell in the last comic event for DC, they had Superman uncontrollably kill someone.

I hope the films are good and I worry just as much as any other fan, but the final product is something we can't control, so just enjoy it.
