Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

Starring Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from Man of Steel, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film. Jason Momoa will also be making an appearance as Aquaman. Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to open in theaters on March 25th, 2016. Are you excited?

It's interesting, we get to see the mindset of Batman at this moment. He's being way harder and rougher on criminals since the events of MOS (he beat up two thugs that surrendered).

Cool. A nice place to start for people who don't know too much about the characters.

2nd time DC have released a comic before a movie. I wonder will Suicide Squad, WOnder Wonder, and all movies going forward will have prequel comics.

Great stuff. So, now we get into the minds of our characters. Awesome stories. Glad to see Bats is not retired before the start of BvS.

My professor caught me reading these and he was like: "is that batman vs Superman stuff?" I said yea. He said "where can I find it?" hahaha. He's a huge superman fan.

These were great!

One more clue that this Batman was probably pretty close to what I would've wanted the character to be in the first ever connected DC movie universe... about 6-10 years prior to the events of MoS.

Funny, because I likely would've had less problems with MoS if Clark had been about 8-10 years younger at the time of the Kryptonian invasion (as well as about 4-6 years younger during the tornado scene, if they insisted on keeping it).

But I do quite like the Lex, Finch and Superman prequels here!

@ComicsBornAndBred - Yes! I agree, in fact if all the idiots who were complaining about Man of Steel read these they may understand how the DCEU is more like reality than your standard Superman comic. For example in the Comics Superman just grabs jumps in front of the train to stop it, but in the DCEU (Particularly these comics) they discuss how if he had done that then the forward momentum and sudden stop of the train would have crushed all those people. Can't Wait!
