If you don't see Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in IMAX 1:43:1 ration, you'll miss as much as 40% of scenes that were filmed using the IMAX cameras.  Scenes like the Batman Knightmare dream sequence where we get our first hints of Apokolips and Darkseid.  "The reason we shot with the IMAX camera was because it really just magnifies the experience, and makes the world more vivid and real," said director Zack Snyder.

In the special IMAX featurette below,  fans go behind-the-scenes with never-before seen footage and commentary from Director Zack Snyder, Director of Photography Larry Fong, ASC, Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill – discussing what it was like to shoot several sequences of the film with IMAX cameras and the unbelievable cinematic experience fans will witness..

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before. Zack Snyder directrs from a script written by David S. Goyer and Chris Terrio.

The film stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Jason Mamoa, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne and Holly Hunter.

Man, I really wanted to see it in IMAX but it's ONLY in IMAX 3D? Anyone get any word of reviews yet?

@TheRationalNerd - 1 review from a Spanish site, there was another that was taken down.

It's mostly IMAX3D but there's like one regular IMAX showing a day at my theater.

@Maniac - Whaaaaaat? Eh, I guess it's only two for now. lol I mean the way Deadpool started off was pretty rocky too. But it's all good. I just want to see what any early birds had to say.

@JamesMann - Ohhhh ok, yeah I thought it was supposed to had been lifted today around 12pm? But I saw something about 3pm just this morning. And well that's good. At least you get what you pay for you know? But yeah, 3D is cool but every now and then I'd like to see just the regular IMAX format. I'm sure it'll be worth it though

@TheRationalNerd - hey bro!

Go to the "Review" section here on CBM, there are 2 reviews. They have a lot of "thumbs up/likes" so not sure why they have not made it to main but you can check them out!

I read the rotten review of the spanish site and the guy seems a 100% Marvelite guy who kept talking about how Marvel is awesome and DC not, so that review is null to my eyes LOL

3D is always too dark; movies give me a headache.

@DAGuess - I have yet to see one IMAX 3D film that wasn't too dark with the glasses on. If only they were just a little brighter. Only negative thing about it but otherwise I love the experience.

@DevarikaWoulf - Yeah I don't get why the dark tint is necessary in 3D. I go out of my way to avoid 3D because of it.
