RUMOR: WB Wants More Dark Knight, Less Man Of Steel In BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DOJ

Zack Snyder is now deep into post production on Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice in preparation for the movie's early 2016 release, & a new rumor suggests they might be tipping the screen-time slightly in favour of the Caped Crusader. Find out why after the jump...

We had already heard the Warner Bros. higher-ups were very impressed with what they've seen from Ben Affleck as Batman, but now we're hearing they were so impressed that they want to beef up the character's role in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice... possibly at the expense of Henry Cavill's big blue boyscout!

Word is the studio has requested that Snyder and co. increase the Gotham vigilante's screen-time while cutting down the Man Of Steel's in the process, because "Ben Affleck's Batman is so good that he is blowing Henry Cavill's Superman right off the screen."

Obviously that's just a rumor for now, but it does make sense when you think about it. Batman has been a bankable character for many years, while the modern incarnations of Superman have struggled a little. Man Of Steel was far from a flop, but it couldn't have had quite the impact - critically or commercially - that WB would have hoped, so they could well feel it's a safer play to switch the focus to the Dark Knight.

What do you guys make of this? Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25, 2016

After MoS, I can't really blame them. Also it would help push Batman's story since he is just being introduced

Even if this is true, it's probably something as minor as 1 or 2 extra scenes... an dyes, I'm sure they "blowing Cavill off the screen" stuff is just embellishment.

Boo.. let Superman have his screentime because Batman is also already going to show up in Suicide Squad plus getting his on trilogy while they can't even confirm a Man of Steel sequel yet. Theres plenty of time for Batman later.

Hmm, I do't know, something sounds off here to me. I hope Snyder don't do this, I need like both characters and they have to had more screen time as possible.

Sound like WB, lets hope it is just a rumor though. Batman has seen enough screen time, time to focus on other characters.
