Statistical Proof BvS:DoJ Will Probably End Up Rotten

Statistical Proof BvS:DoJ Will Probably End Up Rotten

This is a counterpoint to the notion that the DCCU is building to a greater future than the MCU.

These are the people the DCCU is being founded on. I'm sorry to all those that are offended by these facts, but you can't take a bunch of rotten tomatoes and throw them in a basket... and then magically get a fresh tomato. And no, Marvel isn't paying off RT, WARNERS BROTHERS RUNS THE SITE.

Last 3 movies Zack Snyder has directed:

Man of Steel - 56% Rotten
Sucker Punch - 23% Rotten
Legend of the Guardians - 50% Rotten

Every movie David Goyer has ever written that wasn't directed by Christopher Nolan:

Man of Steel - 56% Rotten
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance - 18% Rotten
The Unborn - 11% Rotten
Jumper - 16% Rotten
Ghost Rider - 26% Rotten
The Invisible - 20% Rotten
Blade Trinity - 26% Rotten
Zigzag - 40% Rotten
Blade II - 59% Rotten
Dark City - 74% FRESH!
Blade - 55% Rotten
On Deadly Ground - 0% Rotten

Last 5 movies Henry Cavill has been credited in:

Man of Steel - 56% Rotten
The Cold Light of Day - 5% Rotten
Immortals - 35% Rotten
Whatever Works - 49% Rotten
Blood Creek - 43% Rotten

Ben Affleck's Most recent outings after his Directing Oscar:

Runner Runner - 9% Rotten
To the Wonder - 45% Rotten

Jesse Eisenberg's Last 9 movies he agreed to act in:

The Double - 83% Fresh!
Night Moves - 84% Fresh! We might actually have a legitimate RT darling on our hands! Maybe he will save the movie! Let's see how the rest of his recent movies player out....
Rio 2 - 47% Rotten
He's Way More Famous Than You - 44% Rotten
Now You See Me - 50% Rotten
Free Samples - 50% Rotten
Why Stop Now - 24% Rotten
To Romeo With Love - 43% Rotten
30 Minutes or Less - 45% Rotten

These ratings affect box office totals and general reception of movies. Believe it or not, general audiences do get swayed by professional reviewers. So the question remains: why did WB build their castle upon broken pillars?

Lmao @Havenless. I love the article, not hating on DC but I love the smartass-ness of it. Hopefully Batman vs Superman won't suck though.

I'm gonna write a satire about this whole ill-gotten affair.

People still use Rotten Tomatoes as a reliable source for film review?

It's Satire. Ror uses it to run celebrities through the mud, I'm just setting up some friendly banter with Linkparkfan. But I'll alter the article according to that rule.

Only thing I'd do is remove his username from everything. Having his username in the teaser/article will make it look like you're attacking him.

Another tip, maybe for each actor you only include the last 3 films they've done. This will then make it so you DON'T look like you're trolling by means of this article.

the only thing I agree with is how Goyer's writing is shit. nice satire, doh.

@PrinceAwesome, Rotten Tomatoes is literally just a collection of ALL the reviews for a movie so...why not? I mean, obviously it's not the end-all, be-all when deciding how good a movie is. But more often than not, good movies end up with higher RT scores, and bad movies end up with lower ones. Pretty straightforward to me!

Goyer = Dogshit.

Dark City was also co written by two other people.
Klone
Klone - 8/8/2014, 5:21 PM
And Constantine is co written by the guy that did like the few two or four seasons of Dexter which were excellent. Notice how Goyer's only real worth while work normally has people who have proven themselves to be very talented individually working with him. LOL!

Haha, okay I replaced his username with more digs at DC. Now it's a legitimate flame thread.

@SauronBANE

You have to love how RT only becomes obsolete, shitty and stupid when inconvenient for some people.

I don't always agree with it, but most of the time I find it a good reflection.

I'm gonna need more upvotes for that. Then, even WB employees might see it. Haha!

Only reason I think you should make it where you only keep track of the last 3 films (or 5) these individuals were attached to, is so you're article looks....consistent. What I mean is it's really sketchy to have it where you only include 2 films under one person's name, and 9 under another person's name.

SauronsBANE
SauronsBANE - 8/8/2014, 5:28 PM
Haha seriously, Klone. To use dethpillow's example, DC folks like to use RT to defend TDKR and all that...but all of a sudden, it's NOT an accurate representation of the quality of Man of Steel.

To be clear, I don't think we should use Rotten Tomatoes as the final authority of whether a movie's good or bad...but it's pretty accurate of the popular opinion of a movie, generally speaking.

Probably don't call it Maisefell, fell indicates where someone died.
