Twitter Reacts To The New BATMAN v SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Trailer

The new trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has everyone talking, so we've taken to Twitter to round up the best reactions from bloggers, celebrities, editors from this very site, and even some of YOU! Does Doomsday really look like a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle?

Love it or hate it, the Batman v Superman trailer has everyone talking. I personally thought it was amazing for the first 2:10 until the horrible CGI Doomsday showed up and the preview spoiled a moment - The Trinity together for the first time - which should have been saved for the big screen. Regardless, Twitter is all abuzz with people sharing their thoughts (and memes) about the new trailer, and as you can see below, there are just as many people who disliked it as those that adored each and every second. It's a divisive one anyway, so check out the unique comments made in 140 characters or less here and then head to the usual place to weigh in with your opinions on it...

Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs.  And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

Starring Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from Man of Steel, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film, Jason Momoa will also be making an appearance as Aquaman. Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to open in theaters on March 25th, 2016.

Probably the funniest thing about this whole situation, is that everyone who has hated on the film is going to pay 14 dollars for a ticket to go watch this movie.

Lol the Doomsday jokes are about as laughable as the Crossbones jokes from Cap 3.

This, for me, had more 'Oh my god' and 'Wow' moments than the Civil War trailer.

I think it's a known fact that Jollem was the only person ever to watch Fantastic Four.

He bought hundreds of tickets and just sat in the theater and used them as tissue to wipe away his tears.

The trailer was awesome. Not exactly sure what the problems are, complaints are all over the place. Doomsday does look like a Hobbit troll, but I'm not bothered by the design.

Ill say this... Lex Eisenbutthead is the only bad part about this movie... Otherwise the hype is real!

Pretty much sold on this being the spiritual successor to both TASM2

How? TASM2 was garbage. Had too maybe new characters that weren't given a good introduction into the plot like Max, Harry, and Rhino at the end (while Wonder Woman is the oddball, it's clear using Bruce and Lex makes sense plot wise naturally). TASM2's Peter arc was all about him finding his parents which nobody ever gives a shit about. TASM2's Gwen arc was Gwen getting into Oxford even though high schools tell you to apply for college in your junior year and colleges only select a limited amount of people and given it's Oxford and with how many people apply to their, Gwen wouldn't be able to get in at graduation. Plus you have to visit the Oxford campus before getting excepted and on top of that, summer classes Gwen? You likely graudated in June. Summer classes begin in May and end in June and then begin in July and end in August. You can sign up for classes early but given how long it takes to sign up for classes, the summer classes for July would have likely not been open since the classes likely started. How would Oxford not accept a high school valedictorian who has either an internship or part time job at Oscorp?

Batman v Superman's plot is pretty straight forward.

Bats doesn't like Superman because he believes he's too powerful and Supers doesn't like Batman because he instills fear into an entire city
Lex will manipulate this
Bats and Supers will fight
Bats and Supers will become buddies learning they aren't each other's enemy
Lex is mad
Creates Doomsday outta Zod to kill Superman
Batman/Superman/Wonder Woman team up to stop Doomsday
Roll credits

Wonder Woman is really the only question mark and I feel Aquaman is likely in the vision with the parademons which would be fine.

But plot wise, TASM2 level? Really man? Gonna troll that hard? I know you aren't a fan of MOS, I ain't a fan of MOS, but TASM2 level?

Yeah, the trailer actually made me less confident in the movie itself. Will be watching it of course, but it moves it down from my top 3 2016 movies to watch, just below Civil War, Apocalypse, Deadpool and Dr. Strange

The thing is 99% of people have switched from hating the movie before a trailer was released. Loving the moview hen the 1st trailer was released. To this movie will be horrible now that I seen 3 more minutes of a 2 hour movie. LMAO. So much flip flopness. I am glad I can watch a trailer and not judge the whole movie till I see it. Then after seeing the movie its going to switch once again. Just make up your mind people. LOL.

The movie is going to be great imo. NO flip flopping from me ever.

Don't worry, Josh. I'm sure this article will get as many clicks as DCMF's trailer article.

When the trailer started I thought the Clark/Bruce confrontation was a great way to kick things off. Then Clown!Luthor showed up and it instantly went to shit. I'm still looking forward to seeing Doomsday (The Death of Superman is one of my favorites) but the trailer doesn't give much hope of a great film.

Lex manipulation has already made him better than 95% of forgettable villains over the past few years that have come out of cbm. LMAO.

LEx will be great in this movie. You cant take nothing form that dude with face value.

Can anyone tell me how to post images and gifs here?

As a side note, I don't hate Doomsdays design totally, it's just off-putting. I would've liked for them to either commit to his full blown spiky design or make him still in his containment suit.

Terrible humor!!! Batman has a gun, also terrible! Trying to put way too much
stuff into one movie... The Dark Knight returns/ Justice League/ Superman vs
Doomsday! Doomsday looks terrible!!! Lex Luthor creating Doomsday also crap!!
I wish the' Fan' theory was right over this!!! Why make Zod something he never
became... Not the right way to tell the Doomsday story...

Why are people stuck on the gun thing? We don't actually know what he's holding. The DKR gun was an EMP weapon. The 'gun' he usually holds is a grapnel gun. The times he held an actual pistol was rpre-sixties. WTF?

I still don't get why they are fighting. Batman wants to destroy someone because he could destroy the world. So can the President of Russia and the United States. How exactly is that issue going to be resolved by the time Doomesday shows up. No matter what happens and they somehow defeat Doomesday, absent Superman's death, he (Superman) will still be able to destroy the world. So is Batman just going to forget that and learn to live with it. It makes Batman sound like an arrogant jerk.
