VIDEO: Everything Wrong With The New BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DOJ Trailer

Yes, they're doing these things for trailers now. Cinema Sins return with a list of all of the stuff they found wrong with the SDCC trailer for Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice. They're as nitpicky and pedantic as ever, but if you don't take it seriously there's a few chuckles to be had...

"Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before."

The movie opens in theaters on March 26, 2016, and also stars Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons, Scoot McNairy, Jason Momoa, and Holly Hunter.

The writing and delivery of Eisenberg's "The red capes are coming!" line is easily the most cringe-tastic part of the entire trailer. It'll obviously make much more sense in the context of the movie itself, but to single that line out for a trailer? For Lex Luthor's money-quote after all that epic stuff about god vs man and light vs dark and day vs night? Yeesh. I almost have to skip that one part every time I watch it.

That said, this video was actually incredibly favorable towards the trailer. I wonder how many people won't even bother to watch it and just spew their BS in the comments anyway.

I like the Red Capes line. Lex sees himself as a modern Paul Revere.

I personally think the newspaper is from Jason Todd and not Joker. I could be wrong and it really is from the Joker, but Jason did stuff like that before Bruce knew Jason was still alive.

"The red capes are coming" moment was like my favorite part in the whole trailer.

The "red capes" line wasn't the best way to end the trailer imo. Buuut all in all that thing was pretty sweet. For what it is, that is.

Really? I loved that part. I saw some guy asking what that was a reference to the other day, like if it was a comic book quote or something. *very American eyeroll*

Ma Kent is not being an asshole. Once again people take shit out of context. Superman DOES NOT owe the world a [frick]ing favor because he has super powers. It is SUPERMAN's choice to do the right thing which is what makes him a hero.

I wonder just how many of you even understand "the red capes are coming" line? It's meant to be a dry-humorous ridicule.

Now I'm just waiting for Dexter's facebook page to post this, and include a rant about how YouTube critics are geniuses and hard-working filmmakers are hacks.

i hate that they are going for the stupid mild manners and glasses disguise

joshwilding- just because we didnt see people die doesent mean people didnt die. although in both films marvel used the whole the villians are keeping the fight focused on the heroes excuse as to why not as many people died. both ultron and loki kept the fight focused on the heroes.
kinghulk
kinghulk - 7/16/2015, 4:43 PM
just to clarify the whole villians keep the fight focused on the heroes is a bit silly
kinghulk
kinghulk - 7/16/2015, 4:44 PM
and in both cases i think the villians kept the fights focused on the heroes due to their huge egos
