With Man of Steel being one of the biggest cinematic travesties since "Interview with a Vampire" it looks as if Batman V Superman will cement the DCEU into ruin. The recent trailer for BvS just proves how little the film makers know of the character, and being a 20-something pseudo film critic, I have a LOT of things to say.
1. BATMAN DOESN'T USE GUNS WB.
One of the first thing WB and Zach Snyder gets wrong is that BATMAN DOESN'T USE GUNS. WHEN HAS BATMAN EVER USED A GUN? It's simply poor film making and I feel as if Snyder doesn't get the basic rules of Batman. Even in my all-time favorite batman story, The Dark Knight Returns, batman doesnt use a gun once! That's one strike out for Batman V Superman.
2. LEX LUTHOR ISN'T MENACING
Keep in mind, I've only seen Eisenberg's performance in Rio, and that DOESN'T inspire any confidence in me. Am I to expect WB to cast some CHILDREN'S movie actor? What terrible casting! He acted like a total spazz in the movie too! Is this Lex Luthor or Lex... Joker!? Who knows!? Another strike out for Batman V Superman.
3. IT'S NOT CONNECTED TO NOLANVERSE?
Wait, wait. This movie isn't connected to The Dark Knight? I loved that movie! Instead it's connected to... Man of.... Murder more like it! Why wouldn't they connect it!? I hate that they connected this to that trash movie, man of steel It's clearly just going to end the DCEU.
4. IT'S NOT MARVEL
Not that i'm super into marvel or whatever but not being a marvel movie? already another negative strike against the movie.
5. BATMAN'S VOICE
Not gravelly enough! Final strike out for Batman V Superman!
Well, that's my editorial! I have a ton of important business to get on with my sick better than yours you dc sucker life! Keep in mind, this isn't a Marvel Studios vs WB thing. Also, HAHA WB IS AWFUL LONG LIVE MARVEL STUDIOS!
