BIRDS OF PREY: Huntress Rumored To Appear In The Movie But We May Not See Catwoman

A new rumour has surfaced in regards to the upcoming Birds of Prey movie and it appears as if Catwoman is being left on the shelf but we could end up seeing Huntress instead. Read on for further details.

We don't know an awful lot about Warner Bros. has planned for Birds of Prey but Harley Quinn and Batgirl have pretty much been confirmed despite the fact there's already a movie in the works for the latter. However, seeing as that was pushed back following Joss Whedon's departure, there's a very strong chance that Barbara Gordon could make her DCEU debut in the team-up movie instead.

Now, a rumour is doing the rounds that Huntress could be among the characters who appear in the female-led team-up movie (which makes sense seeing as she hasn't shown up in Arrow for ages). This would presumably be the Helena Bertinelli as opposed to Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle's daughter.

Speaking of Catwoman, The Wrap's Umberto Gonzales recently took to social media to reveal that there are no plans for the fan-favourite anti-hero to appear here, a shame considering the fact it would have been amazing fun seeing her alongside the likes of Harley Quinn and Batgirl. Perhaps she's being saved for The Batman but seeing as that project is still on hold, we'll have to wait and see for now.
