The first trailer for Black Adam was released earlier this month, and for the most part, it received a positive response from fans. For a movie that star Dwayne Johnson has said will change the hierarchy of power in the DC Extended Universe, it looks a little by the numbers, but we're certainly not going to write this one off based on a teaser alone.
What we can say is that the DC Comics adaptation stands a good chance of being a fun blockbuster, and we're definitely excited to see the Justice Society in action.
As you can see in this new batch of promo art, the team has retained the "A" in their logo, though it doesn't appear as if "of America" will be something we see included in marketing beyond that. The JSA can also be seen beneath the imposing figure of Black Adam, while there are some cool shots of Hawkman and Atom Smasher (and his oddly Deadpool-esque mask).
We're hoping to see much more from Black Adam in the coming weeks and months, and with reshoots now finished, test screenings are likely just around the corner. There's no guarantee feedback from them will leak, but we may soon get some intel on what audiences think about this character's long-overdue big screen debut.
Take a look at this new Black Adam promo art below, and be sure to head over to our news tab for the movie to keep your eyes peeled for all the latest updates and reveals.
From New Line Cinema, Dwayne Johnson stars in the action-adventure Black Adam under the direction of Jaume Collet-Serra (Jungle Cruise). Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the ancient gods - and imprisoned just as quickly - Black Adam (Johnson) is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.
Johnson stars alongside Aldis Hodge (One Night in Miami) as Hawkman, Noah Centineo (To All the Boys I've Loved Before) as Atom Smasher, Sarah Shahi (Sex/Life) as Adrianna, Marwan Kenzari (Murder on the Orient Express) as Ishmael, Quintessa Swindell (Trinkets) as Cyclone, Bodhi Sabongui (A Million Little Things) as Amon, and Pierce Brosnan (James Bond) as Dr. Fate.
Black Adam will electrify audiences in theaters when it's released on October 21, later this year!
