BLACK ADAM Star Dwayne Johnson Announces Premiere Date Of First Trailer For The DC Comics Movie

This has been a long time coming, but Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has finally announced when the first Black Adam trailer will be released online, and it's heading our way very soon. Read on for details...

Black Adam was recently pushed from July to October, and the first trailer is now incoming! With additional photography continuing on Jaume Collet-Serra's DC Comics adaptation, star Dwayne Johnson has shared another round of behind the scenes shots of his formidable anti-hero.

With those comes the news that the teaser will debut online on June 8! That's the same day Ms. Marvel premieres on Disney+, of course, and if we had to hazard a guess, expect it to premiere around 12pm PT (needless to say, we'll be sharing this highly anticipated preview the second it lands).

With Black Adam now being released just a couple of months before Shazam! Fury of the Gods, we're anticipating some sort of crossover between the two DC Comics projects. These ongoing reshoots for Black Adam's DCEU debut could add more connective tissue to the movie, thereby helping set the stage for an eventual meeting between the characters down the line.

While small snippets of footage from Black Adam have been released by Warner Bros. over the past year or so, this trailer will hopefully show us a lot more. After all, we have no idea what to expect from the movie's tone or even the plot aside from a few vague rumours about the direction this anti-hero is being taken in.

Black Adam stars Dwayne Johnson, Noah Centineo, Aldis Hodge, Sarah Shahi, Quintessa Swindell, Pierce Brosnan, and Marwan Kenzari, and will electrify audiences in theaters on July 29.
