In "Rumor Mill," we share the hard to buy rumours that don't come from reliable sources like the trades, but are still more believable (just) than what you might find on Reddit.
The Direct is reporting that Black Adam will see Eclipso make his big screen debut as the character used to help imprison Teth-Adam thousands of years in the past.
A relatively obscure supervillain from the comic books, the powerful sorcerer has caused many problems for the Justice Society of America as one of their primary foes. It's possible that this version was an ally - willing or not - to The Wizard, who was crucial in locking Black Adam away.
It also makes sense for him to show up in the present day to take on the anti-hero and JSA, and the concept art shared during DC FanDome teased the Heart of Darkness; the ancient relic Eclipso was bound to. So, it's feasible that Adam was in there with him and that when he escapes, so does Eclipso.
Either way, this is definitely an interesting decision, especially with Stargirl season two set to use the character as its lead villain. However, with Warner Bros. making it clear that the same characters can exist at the same time in different parts of the Multiverse, that might not matter too much.
What do you guys think?
