The Rock Teases A Surprise Big Screen BLACK ADAM Debut; Promises The Villain Will Face-Off With SUPERMAN
In a new interview, Dwayne Johnson drops an intriguing tease relating to the debut of Black Adam, while also commenting on his character's inevitable showdown with The Man of Steel...
Earlier today, Dwayne Johnson revealed that he'd love to see Armie Hammer suit-up as Shazam when the DC adaptation finally hits theaters, but the Baywatch actor has now hinted that we might be seeing that hero's nemesis a lot sooner than that.
During an interview with Fandango, Johnson revealed that there is a big surprise in store for fans as it pertains to the big screen debut of Black Adam.
“It’s definitely going to happen, sure. We’ve had great conversations with Geoff Johns and everyone over at DC. It’s an exciting time right now for everyone at DC because they are in a process now where they are building out [their DC universe] really nicely. We have a really cool surprise for Black Adam that I can’t reveal, in terms of where we will see Black Adam being introduced.”
Is there a possibility Black Adam could show up in Justice League, perhaps? That would open the door for a potential face-off with Superman, which Johnson also confirms is definitely "in the cards."
It sounds like there is some kind of big Black Adam announcement coming at any rate, so keep an eye on CBM for updates.
