BLACK PANTHER Star Chadwick Boseman Gets The Ultimate Seal Of Approval From Smilin' Stan

Actors probably have their good days and their bad days, just like anyone else. But today was surely one of the good ones for Chadwick Boseman as he received the Stan Lee stamp of approval.

Marvel's master of alliteration took to Twitter to express his excitement for the upcoming Black Panther movie and publicly endorse Chadwick Boseman for the role. Stan "The Man" Lee wrote, "In 1966 we brought Black Panther to the pages of Marvel… Now this talented young man brings him to the silver screen! You have my respect!"

Black Panther wrapped filming back in April so it's unlikely Stan was on set to film a cameo for the film. It's possible the two are catching up ahead of the Extraordinary: Stan Lee event next week which will honor the Marvel icon.

Black Panther is slated to hit theaters on February 16, 2018.

“Black Panther” follows T’Challa who, after the events of “Captain America: Civil War,” returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King. However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T’Challa’s mettle as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk.

Stan is right (no surprise there). Boseman blew me away in Civil War. Fantastic casting.

BTW, I read the original Fantastic Four 52 when the Panther was introduced. Yep, I'm old ;)

I have to admit, I wasn't pleased at first with the casting of Boseman, but he was great as T'Challa. Really looking forward to this movie.

Boseman was incredible as Black Panther in Civil War. But he looks so uncomfortable and nervous on stage in front of a big crowd in real life lol.

I'm very happy to be alive and young in this age of CBM's, and Stan here looks to be just as happy as I am.

@ATrueHero1987 - watch him be an airplane captain or an airline worker...

@Jmellox81 - Stan should be the one and only tourist ever allowed to visit Wakanda.
