Season five of Disney's XD's animated series Avengers Assemble may be titled Marvel's Avengers: Black Panther's Quest but make no mistake about it, this is just as much Shuri's adventure as it is T'Challa's. While the Black Panther and Infinity War movies have done a good job familiarizing audiences with Shuri and her technological brilliance, Black Panther's Quest will undoubtedly offer much more insight into this fascinating brother-sister dynamic.

Marvel's Avengers: Black Panther's Quest will focus primarily on the adventures of T'Challa as he struggles to balance his duties as a member of the Avengers and King of Wakanda. But while he is the face of the upcoming season, Shuri will no doubt play a pivotal role in ensuring his success. And you can bet she won't let him forget it. In addition to all of the action the upcoming season promises, watching this brother-sister relationship unfold on screen be equally entertaining.

As the mysterious Shadow Council rises to challenge Wakanda, T’Challa teams up with his sister Shuri to go on missions that no other Avenger can. It’s a globe-trotting journey of espionage and mystery as old foes resurface and new friends are made. In the end, Black Panther must balance defending his home and stopping threats before they start. Is he a sword or a shield? Only he can decide.

Marvel's Avengers: Black Panther's Quest premieres Sunday, September 23, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Disney XD. Check out the full trailer for the upcoming season here.

oh they changed the animation to look like the new spider-man show.
So is the ultimate spider-man show not canon anymore lol because that's kinda weird considering they've crossed over with that one

@azimiq - That bugs me My Friend, but I have to live with it.....Because I going to watch it regardless!!! Still it bother me that due to the soft reboot of Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel is an Avenger over Spidey. Maybe The new show Marvel Initiative will softly fix that issue as well.

I wish the animation was a better, but it looks good. One of the guys working on this has been dishing some details and it sounds pretty cool.

Why not just make a Black Panther series instead of shoehorning the Avengers into it.

@FunkyDormammu - You know Marvel has to ride the wave of their most popular character and associate it to familiar territory like Avengers Assemble...Ride the Wave!!!! LOL

@DocStranger - Are you sharing this cause you think it's something official, but leaked? Or is it cause you made it? Or cause it just looks cool?

@marvel72 - Agree totally, worst character in Marvel films. Actress is horrible, she couldn't convince me she was intelligent to save her life, much less a genius. Also a shame they wasted the talents of such a great actress in Angela Bassett.
