Marvel's Black Panther was a tremendous hit for many reasons, and with the passing of the late Chadwick Boseman, the future of the franchise is left unclear. Still, many are excited to revisit the character of M'Baku, portrayed by Winston Duke (Us).

Duke made an impression as M'Baku, the Man-Ape, and the leader of the Jabari tribe in 2018's Black Panther, and even returned in both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. With the character having survived the five-year blip, it will be interesting to see how he has progressed in the absence of T'Challa during Black Panther 2.

In the meantime, we are thrilled to share some M'Baku greatness in the form of an exclusive clip from the fourth episode of Marvel's Black Panther: Sins of the King, a new series from Marvel and Serial Box. The clip features M'Baku's introduction, as well as some great dialogue between T'challa and T'chaka.

They should just make the next movie take place in an alternate universe where TChalla is dead (similar to Spiderverse) and start the story from there.

@NubaX - Thats kinda convoluted no? Why not just have it in the regular universe where he’s dead?

@OmegaBlack13 - Don't think the story should take place in an alternate universe but also I hate the idea of killing the main character of a promising franchise that is just starting offscreen. I think it's possible to respect Chadwick's legacy and still recast the character. But since they are not doing that, I hope they come up with something better than stating that Black Panther, the protector of Wakanda, just died at some point after Endgame. And I also hope that the solution is not simply making his sister then new Black Panther.

Winston Duke absolutely oozes charisma. Dudes a great actor. Would love to see him in more stuff.

What am I looking at? Judging by the context, it’s... not a show? It is a show? It’s I don’t know? It’s help me bro

I'm guessing they're going to show what Wankandans were doing in the 5 year gap. I'd like to see a Wakamdan Multiverse where T'Chakka's father took down Atlantis and is now cold, almost corrupt after losing T'Chakka to Namor during the war. Azzurri (T'Chakka's) father visits 616 Wakanda to preserve the mantle of Black Panther after being brought in through a portal created by Mordo. King Azzuri should be played by Wesley Snipes. Penny, penny.

This article is very confusingly written.

Is it an MCU thing? Is it a non-MCU thing where Winston Duke reprises the role? Does Winston Duke even have anything to do with this?

Not interested in Black Panther 2 unless they recast T"Challa.
