BLACK ADAM Is Ready For His Closeup On An Electrifying New Magazine Cover Ahead Of Comic-Con

Warner Bros. recently confirmed that Black Adam and Shazam! Fury of the Gods will take centre stage at this year's San Diego Comic-Con with a special Hall H panel dedicated to both DC Comics movies. We're hoping the studio has other surprises in store for us (we're not banking on seeing too much from The Flash, unfortunately), but new trailers are all but guaranteed.

The Black Adam teaser received mixed, if mostly positive reviews from fans, and we're definitely keen to see more of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in his first live-action superhero role.

The anti-hero actually takes centre stage on a new Den of Geek magazine cover that will be available to fans attending Comic-Con next week. It's always fun to take a closer look at that costume after months of it being teased by the actor, and he certainly seems like a formidable new force for the rest of the DC Extended Universe to contend with.

Whether that's as an ally or enemy obviously remains to be seen.

With both Black Adam and the Shazam! sequel being released in theaters this year, common sense says the plan from here is to have the characters team-up or square off in some sort of crossover. We don't anticipate Warner Bros. announcing that in Hall H, but perhaps we'll get some sort of tease.

Check out this new look at Black Adam below:

From New Line Cinema, Dwayne Johnson stars in the action-adventure Black Adam under the direction of Jaume Collet-Serra (Jungle Cruise). Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the ancient gods - and imprisoned just as quickly - Black Adam (Johnson) is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.

Johnson stars alongside Aldis Hodge (One Night in Miami) as Hawkman, Noah Centineo (To All the Boys I've Loved Before) as Atom Smasher, Sarah Shahi (Sex/Life) as Adrianna, Marwan Kenzari (Murder on the Orient Express) as Ishmael, Quintessa Swindell (Trinkets) as Cyclone, Bodhi Sabongui (A Million Little Things) as Amon, and Pierce Brosnan (James Bond) as Dr. Fate.

Black Adam will electrify audiences in theaters when it's released on October 21, later this year!
