Black Adam star Dwayne Johnson has just shared the second full trailer for his upcoming DC Comics movie, and this action-packed new footage might just convince a few fans that The Man in Black's big-screen debut will be well worth checking out!

This teaser reveals that the Justice Society are brought in to restrain Teth Adam when he awakes from a 5,000 year slumber, and the person issuing the command is none other that Amanda Waller (Viola Davis). Why the Task Force X leader also has this superhero team at her disposal is not clear, but it certainly seems like Hawkman, Doctor Fate, Cyclone and Atom Smasher are following her orders.

We then see the JSA emerge from their very X-Mansion-like HQ as they prepare to face-off with the powerful anti-hero. We get a little tease of Adam vs. Hawkman, Adam vs. Doctor Fate, Hawkman vs. the villainous Sabbac, and more.

Check out the new trailer below, and let us know what you think in the usual spot.

"From New Line Cinema, Dwayne Johnson stars in the action adventure Black Adam. The first-ever feature film to explore the story of the DC Super Hero comes to the big screen under the direction of Jaume Collet-Serra (“Jungle Cruise”). Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the ancient gods— and imprisoned just as quickly—Black Adam (Johnson) is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world."

Johnson stars alongside Aldis Hodge (City on a Hill, One Night in Miami) as Hawkman, Noah Centineo (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before) as Atom Smasher, Sarah Shahi (Sex/Life, Rush Hour 3) as Adrianna, Marwan Kenzari (Murder on the Orient Express, The Mummy) as Ishmael, Quintessa Swindell (Voyagers, Trinkets) as Cyclone, Bodhi Sabongui (A Million Little Things) as Amon, and Pierce Brosnan (the Mamma Mia! and James Bond franchises) as Dr. Fate.

Black Adam will be released nationwide on 21st October 2022 by Warner Bros. Pictures.

There’s some really cheap looking shots in this. Not feeling The Rock as Adam at all.

The JSA renting the Xavier Mansion lol

@GhostDog - That's my biggest concern about Black adam. It seems more like the Rock DC fan-fiction than an actual story about Teth-Adam.

@MCUKnight11 - his edge as Adam comes off so hammy. It’s not like “oh shit you should be a little scared of this guy” which is what I think Adam gives off with his charisma and energy. There’s a devilish vibe to Adam.

@GhostDog - Hammy is the best way to put it. The Rock plays him like he knows he's in an action movie.

@GhostDog - Little nicpick, but after seeing Namor in Wakanda forever, they couldn't bother with the pointy ears?

@theprophet - No, no , no. Everyone is supposed to make negative comments about this movie. Seriously, I’m excited about it. But having Amanda Waller in this, I thought this was already known. I kept waiting for the surprise, hoping it would be Cavill but I knew it wouldn’t. I actually thought that they would show Sarah Shahi as Isis in the trailer and that would be the surprise. I guess they’re saving that for the movie.

Does the movie take place in only one location ? 🤔 hehe

@MisterDoctor217 -

They are hiding something. That's why most of the trailer appears to be from the same scenes and/or set pieces.

Not impressed at all. Bad cgi. Rock being the Rock. Only thing that does look good is the JSA.. however.. I will not be paying to see this. Next DC movie I'll see is Batman 2

@MotherGooseUPus - the batman 2, joker 2 and black panther 2 are the only upcoming cbms that sound interesting at all

@tmp3 - honestly want nothing to do with joker 2. BP2 doesn't look good but ill see it cuz its MCU and I need to keep up with everything. Honestly I'm looking forward to Antman3 and John Wick 4 more than BP 2.

To think this is the last WBD theatrical release of the year and the only one that can save it from crippling debt.

Better trailer than the others but still not that much to get hyped about. It still looks pretty generic.

@MrDandy -

Yes that’s the word, it doesn’t look bad per se, but it looks like an amalgamation of all the comic book movies that have come before.
