As the Blade movie continues to round out its cast ahead of production getting underway later this year, a new rumor may reveal where Mahershala Ali's titular vampire hunter will make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut.

Possible spoilers ahead.

Though Ali did technically feature in Eternals' post-credits scene (his voice could be heard off-screen), The Cosmic Circus is reporting that the Daywalker will make his first actual appearance in the upcoming Disney+ Halloween Special, which is believed to be based on Werewolf By Night. The site doesn't really have much more to add, but they have had a few significant scoops pan out in the past, so this is definitely worth paying attention to.

If Marvel Studios wants to allow more casual fans to become familiar with Blade before he leads his own movie, Werewolf By Night would be the most logical place to introduce the character. Blade seems to shaping up to be more of a team-focused adventure than we'd initially been led to believe, so perhaps the hero will recruit the Werewolf to join his supernatural group?

Eternals actor Kit Harington is expected to reprise the of Dane Whitman, and a recent casting call suggested that Blade will introduce Whitman's love interest Faiza Hussain, aka Excalibur. Krypton alum Aaron Pierre is also on board in an undisclosed part.

The still untitled Halloween Special is also scheduled to shoot this year, and stars Gael Garcia Bernal as the Werewolf(?) and Laura Donnelly as Nina Price, aka Vampire by Night.
