CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD Promo Art Reveals First Look At Danny Ramirez Suited Up As The Falcon

More Captain America: Brave New World promo art has swooped online ahead of the movie's 2025 release, and it offers a glimpse at The Falcon and The Winter Soldier's Danny Ramirez suited up as The Falcon.

Captain America: Brave New World will put the spotlight on Sam Wilson as he wields the shield as the MCU's new Captain America. However, he won't be alone in his battle with Red Hulk and The Leader because Top Gun: Maverick star Danny Ramirez will suit up as The Falcon!

Promo art depicting the actor as Joaquin Torres has found its way online today which confirms he'll be donning a helmet very much in line with his comic book counterpart.

However, in place of a beak (which, no pun intended, is a little on the nose), the MCU's newest superhero is wearing a large visor. He also appeared to have an armoured suit and it should be interesting to see how he gets to grips with his newfound role. For now, we don't get to see wings!

We can't share the image, but you can take a look at this promo art depicting the MCU's new Falcon by clicking HERE.

Ramirez first played the character in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier where he was introduced as a First Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. A friend of Sam's, he didn't make a huge impact, and will presumably play a much larger role in Captain America: Brave New World.

When we last saw him, Torres watched as Sam - now Captain America - delivered that inspirational speech following the Flag Smashers' defeat.

In the comics, Joaquin Torres first appeared in 2015's Captain America: Sam Wilson #1. Created by writer Nick Spencer and artist Daniel Acuña, the teenager was initially introduced as a member of the Sons of the Serpent, a hate group, before being rescued by the new Captain America.

They became friends and Torres later underwent a transformation that imbues him with bird-like abilities, including wings and enhanced senses, similar to those of the Falcon. Needless to say, we don't expect the MCU to head down that route.

Assuming they all make the cut following this summer's planned reshoots, Captain America: Brave New World stars Anthony Mackie, Harrison Ford, Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, Tim Blake Nelson, Shira Haas, Liv Tyler, and WWE Superstar Seth Rollins.

Julius Onah helms the movie from a screenplay by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson, though the director is believed to have also taken a pass at it. Matthew Orton, meanwhile, has written new scenes for the reshoots which are taking place later this year.

Captain America: Brave New World is set to arrive in theaters on February 14, 2025.

Looks fairly close to the comic version , will probably be more “militarized” given this Joaquin is in the army.

Anyway , I liked the character in FaTWS so I’m looking forward to seeing him in this!!.

@Comicmoviejunki -
"so its true this movie is horrible?"

Yes. The original plot fully leaked. It's been verified by set leaks.

The re-shoots are not changing a lot of the fundamental aspects, they are just removing the serpent society and altering some of the focus because they were going to use the film as heavily focusing on Sabra - who they now view as a liability so they've minimized her scenes. There's a few other changes also, but generally it's still going to be as bad as the original plot leak.

If you polish a turd, it's still a turd. That's what Disney are doing currently.

@Nomis929 - I was surprised by what you could get away in a PG Disney movie.

Boobs and bum in the swimming scene,Princess being eaten by Baby Dragons.

Such a great movie.

Steve is Captain America, and no retcon or change in comic history will ever change that. Legacy characters are lazy unimaginative filler, that never should have been a thing. It’s a new character… but not. Sam is The Falcon, and should have promoted him as coming into his own and out of his role as steve’s partner/sidekick. There’s nothing interesting as him as Captain America. It’s just more pandering slush that has no substance.
SonOfAGif
SonOfAGif - 3/19/2024, 10:40 AM
@TheGreenRanger - Hasn't there been so many Green Power rangers? By your logic Tommy is the only green one?
TheGreenRanger
TheGreenRanger - 3/19/2024, 10:46 AM
@SonOfAGif - all the power rangers shows are treated in their own respective story/universe. It’s not like Tommy was like “here bro, you’re the green ranger now, bc my white guilt is over flowing and I think this suit and Zord need to be in the hands of a victim of systemic racism, bc I too think that inclusion is more important than originality.
Gabimaru
Gabimaru - 3/19/2024, 10:49 AM
@SonOfAGif - can you give much more lousy example than that? It's just like boruto series it will never top the original naruto series. It's not about the different ethnicity or character. It's just the unimaginative approach of these new characters in general.
DarthAlgar
DarthAlgar - 3/19/2024, 10:54 AM
@SonOfAGif - Poor comparison.

There's only ONE green Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger.

Each green ranger is of their own respective theme and universe.
SonOfAGif
SonOfAGif - 3/19/2024, 11:00 AM
@DarthAlgar - Every power ranger with the exception of RPM and a few others have existed in the same Universe/Planet/Timeline.
SonOfAGif
SonOfAGif - 3/19/2024, 11:01 AM
@TheGreenRanger - Did Tommy not give his Red Turbo powers over to TJ who happened to be black?
Ikusa
Ikusa - 3/19/2024, 11:05 AM
@SonOfAGif - Ha. T.J sucked and was demoted to Blue Ranger the following year.

He wasn't well received as a leader.

@TheGreenRanger - Power Rangers suck
SonOfAGif
SonOfAGif - 3/19/2024, 11:07 AM
@Ikusa - Regardless of your opinion it doesn't negate that Tommy handed over his leadership and Morpher to TJ. And TJ was the Blue Space ranger and would lead the team whenever Andros wasn't around. And then Zane came aboard and became co-leader.
Ikusa
Ikusa - 3/19/2024, 11:07 AM
@cubrn - So does your girlfriend. The only difference is she's so bad I have no desire for seconds.
Ikusa
Ikusa - 3/19/2024, 11:08 AM
@SonOfAGif - It's not an opinion.

T.J sucked. Nobody liked him, hence why he was kicked down to number 2.
SonOfAGif
SonOfAGif - 3/19/2024, 11:10 AM
@Ikusa - I liked TJ. So it is an opinion because you said "Nobody liked him." I liked him and so did many other people. So you are incorrect.
DarthAlgar
DarthAlgar - 3/19/2024, 11:11 AM
@SonOfAGif - In a sense yes, but it's not something that was ever truly acknowledged in the series.

Sure, you had guest appearances but there were too many inconsistencies for it to truly be a connected "universe".

It wasn't even until the comics that they began to expand.

Bottom line. Comparing all of Green Rangers equally is just stupid.

Ikusa
Ikusa - 3/19/2024, 11:13 AM
@SonOfAGif - I am 100% certain as a kid you weren't pretending to be T.J while playing. You like him because he's black. Nothing more. Be more predictable.
cubrn
cubrn - 3/19/2024, 11:14 AM
@Ikusa - I would bet $300 you couldn't locate the clit on an anatomy chart
SonOfAGif
SonOfAGif - 3/19/2024, 11:21 AM
@DarthAlgar - But it is part of the same continuity. Despite how inconsistent most of it was. The Ranger Grid is what powered every ranger and a color wasn't exclusive to one ranger. Same with Captain America. The name Captain America is a mantle. Steve Rogers is the super soldier. His Captain America moniker is just a name. The same way Black Panther is a mantle that has been passed down. The Sorcerer Supreme is also a mantle. I don't get why people instantly make this a pissing match the moment someone who is a different shade of white becomes a legacy character replacement.
tluciotti74
tluciotti74 - 3/19/2024, 11:22 AM
@TheGreenRanger - People bitch when they go away from comic canon but also bitch when they follow comic canon. which do you all want?
SonOfAGif
SonOfAGif - 3/19/2024, 11:25 AM
@Ikusa - Unlike you as a kid, I wasn't looking at the skin color of a power ranger or their race when I pretended to be a ranger or had the Halloween costume. So if I was the Red Turbo Ranger, I was the Red Turbo Ranger regardless of it was Tommy or TJ. But continue on about how you dislike Black people.
