The folks over at SuperHeroHype have spotted the stars of Marvel's much-anticipated Captain America: The First Avenger & Thor films, Chris Evans & Chris Hemsworth at Hasbro's 2011 Toy Fair showroom in New York. Also spotted, Director Michael Bay & Transformers: Dark Of The Moon star Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is seen posing alongside Hasbro's new movie toy lines.








With all three films distributed with Paramount Pictures, the stars making an appearance at the annual Toy Fair could be considered a marketing plan. You may remember Iron Man 2 star Robert Downey Jr. visiting the showroom last year.



Anyhow, Joe Johnston leads Captain America: The First Avenger in theaters July 22, while Kenneth Branagh directs THOR to the big-screen May 6; and Michael Bay unleashes Transformers: Dark Of The Moon July 1, all in 3D!

Talk about life and art being mirrors of themselves... that's how I see RDJ as Tony Stark... seeing him last year at the fair was one of the best highlights of the place ever... and he was one of the best casting choices ever too!

As much as I partly disliked the Transformers gig with Bay in it, I can safely say from personal observations that she doesn't look as self-centered as Megan Fox does nowadays.

Evans and Hemsworth appear understated in the pics but, damn, I'm psyched about their respective movies!

More power to them and to their movies!

I would imagine Hemsworth and Evans to get on in real life actually, they're around the same age, seem like nice people. I wouldn't be surprised if they started hanging out together lol

I think it's awesome that they take time out to promote this stuff for the kids, it's good.

I am definitely going to spend at least a couple hundred dollars on Thor and Cap toys this year. I really hope Marvel lets some people besides Hasbro license the shield, because I would buy a nice 30 or so inch movie replica with raised star, not a plastic frisbee.


I am really happy it's 2011 and I can't wait for the next six or so months worth of movies.

The pictures of Chris X 2 is exciting, Robert Downey Jr's awesome.....the thought of the THREE of them and more for next summer is UNbelievable!!!!!! I cannot even imagine what the hell this place is going to be like in one year, when we get closer to marketing and merchandising....and great rewarded fun!!!!! :))))

Oh...and F Transformers....Bay had his chance, but.....well.....weeeeeeeeeee'll see, Explosion Boy. *grin*

I've got to agree with the Iron Fist up there - Chris Hemsworth is damn pretty. Easily the prettiest person in any of these pictures. Nice of him to dress up for this event...

I really like Chris Evans, and I believe he'll be great as Captain America, but he doesn't look at all Cap-like here. I guess he's only got a couple months to enjoy looking douchey before cameras start rolling again.
