With the first pics surfacing of Chris Evan's on the set of Captain America TFA, we have noticed a strange deformity that links the movie to LOTR.

Interestingly his make up looks very 1920's rather than 40's as if they were filming this in black and white - or at least in washed out colours.

I wonder if this is a flashback sequence using B&W footage or if it is gonna be cinematically styled on such work as Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers??

Wow he got so ripped. And about the hair, you should probably wait until the movie comes out to judge that, becuase illumination sometimes make things look more different, so it might get more blonde than this, but even if it doesn't I0m really happy with the outcome, he really looks like Steve Rogers now.

I'm thinking a "Hulk Out" session happened just before this scene.

I keep reading on hear that this is the place where the secret lab of Dr. Erskine is so, could it be that the capri's and tight shirt were much baggier on the former Steve and he outgrew them after the SSS and the Vita rays?

Then comes the explosion, and the car chase and then he saves Peggy?

Sound right ??

I guess Capt'n has big feet. He has rather strange proportioned arms compared to his chest and shoulders. But it doesnt look that bad. I think this will be better than Thor.

Biggcess@ I am inclined to agree with you. Seeing as this super soldier serum does have some distant links to what would happen later to Banner it would make sense to have a little nod to it.

I guess the short trousers are explained by that. I am also guessing that Howard Stark maybe the only other guy who had a vague idea about Erskine's serum.

REASON FOR HOBBIT FEET, SCENE MAY CALL FOR HIM TO RUN BAREFOOT, IN A FAST SHOT SCENE IT MIGHT APPEAR HE HASNT GOT THOSE HUGE FEET ON, MAYBE FOR THE ACTORS COMFORT THEY MADE SKIN COLORED FEET LIKE "SHOES"

I don't think he looks worried, I think he's freezing. I don't know the temp there but in all the other photo's everyone has coats on. He is wearing a pretty sizable coat in another photo before taking it off for the shoot. I think he's just saying to himself " good God it's flippin cold out here."

It's been freezing in my part of the UK today so I'm guessing he's cold and those are feet covers because he's running barefoot...or could it be that both "Frostbite" and "Captain America" are the codenames for The Hobbit? I sure as hell hope not!!! :D

Remember when he said that he was bulking up for the role, but would have to wear a partial body suit because of his chicken legs....I think that's what it is.

That way his legs don't look skinny on camera and proportionate to the rest of his body
