“Oh my god, when shooting was done I just stopped going to the gym completely for about three months."

“I didn’t really have to diet.”

“I’m pretty skinny naturally. So for the most part, when I try to get big, I have to eat everything. And that’s tough, oddly enough, when you just don’t want to eat food, you’re just full, but you have to eat another piece of chicken, you have to. It’s the worst.”

“The workouts were exhausting, It’s the workouts that, you know, make you want to vomit. It’s horrible. You try to think of any way to get out of it before you go. And you’re just so glad when you’re done.”

“I threw in the towel in December."

Love this guys honesty...I am tired of some actors trying to say that they all love the workouts. I know that could be one of the hardest parts of playing a role like this.

You know I used to wonder why actors didn't just stay buff after roleslike this but I guess it can be pretty intense though.

Evans is one big baby. He hasn't said one thing that makes me think he likes this role at all. He didn't wanna have to mke his career this movie. Seriously? He's known for Not Another Teen Movie and F4, what career? And he thought the costume was goofy. Screw off. Now he didn't like the workout. What a vag. Suck it up and quit complaining. Should have never picked him in the first place. RDJ is going to run circles around him in The Avengers and rightfully so.

They should have picked someone who was into it big time,Evans seems like a bit of an arse if you ask me, why cast people like him and Ed norton when thay are just not team players at all, they all find a way out of it some how.
look at Hugh Jackman, He loves playing Wolverine and it shows, and it's made him a serious film carear to boot.

@Glove
Wasn't Ed Norton very involved in the remaking of the script? i think that do shows more involvement with the Hulk project than what is being said about Chirs Evans, unless you refer to other thing by "not a team player", which i'm unware of. Still, anybody knows why he wasn't picked to do the Hulk again?
