Captain America 3 is my most anticipated solo film. Come check out eight things I want to see in the film.

Captain America: The First Avenger is the perfect origin film and the best film of Marvel's Phase One solo films and Captain America: The Winter Soldier has been hailed by some, mostly myself as far as I know, to be the best superhero sequel thus far. Captain America 3 has potential to be epic and do what only The Dark Knight trilogy has been able to do in the superhero genre: An epic trilogy where every film is great. As far as I'm concerned, Cap could surpass the caped crusader. Here are eight things my fellow comic fans that I want to see in the film.

1: Taskmaster
Usually this would be higher up on the list but, I want to talk about it now. Taskmaster has yet to be seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While he would be great on Agents of Shield. A tv show I happen to really love and think it's the best superhero based show to be made thus far (high hopes for DareDevil). Taskmaster really has great potential on screen. No better superhero film for him to appear in than, Captain America 3. While they are keeping with the political thriller, I'm sure we can all safely assume it's also going to be an action/adventure film. Taskmaster has the ability to add suspense to the political thriller aspect and with the ability to copy moves from his targets, Cap could be very predictable to him as well as Falcon. Hell, he would make a great Avengers villain. The events of Age of Ultron, he could have studied each of The Avengers and should Cap form a smaller team be true, it would be facinating to see. He is also the one who trained Crossbones after all. Have him be hired by Hydra to capture Cap but kill the rest, it would create an incredible amount of suspense and unpredictability, not to mention potential for fantastic fight scenes that could be improved on from The Winter Soldier, a superhero film with the best one on one fight thus far: Steve Rogers vs The Winter Soldier on the street.

2: Sin
While this film could be already jam packed with characters as it is. I would like for them to have Sin be not only in the film but, an integrel part of the film. I have voiced my hopes to never see Red Skull appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as while I loved Hugo Weaving's portrayal of the character despite a lack of menace and development from him, Hydra should be the only threat to carry over all three films. Also, change up the comics a bit by having Sin be his granddaughter rather than be his daughter. Hydra looks to break sin out of carceration and have her lead Hydra in the fight against Captain America and his team. A nod to her relationship with Crossbones wouldn't hurt either. Speaking of whom...

3: A badass Crossbones
I love Frank Grillo, the casting of Frank Grillo and his performance as Brock Rumlow. While we were introduced to the character, we didn't get to know anything about him except that he's part of Hydra. That and the exception of his fight against Falcon, he got his ass kicked a lot in the film. I want to see not only an arc and development for the character, I want to see the character kick all sorts of ass. He's by far my favorite Captain America villain and I want to see more from him. He could essentially be Cap's Bane in the sense of, how much he is of a threat against Captain America. I can't be the only one here who thinks this.

4: Emotional Winter Soldier Arc
While we are probably going to get this in the film anyway, I want to see an emotional arc for The Winter Soldier. I felt bad for him in the second film and hell, Cap and Bucky's conversation at the end of their final bout not only was emotional and intense but when Cap said: "The finish it. Cause I'm with you 'til the end of the line" Not only did it appreciate my friendship with my best friend but, it nearly brought me to tears. I want more scenes like that in Captain America 3. Cap and Bucky have such a close friendship, Bucky is the only thing from Caps past that he has left. I want to see that explored even more. Bucky's struggle to come to terms with what he is, who is and the guilt he feels for all the horrible things he has done. He's such an interesting character that I don't think it'll be skimped over. But, it's still something I would love to see in the film. This has to be the most emotional Cap film and Marvel Cinematic Universe film.

5: Cap brought down to his knees
Figuratively, emotionally and physically. I want to see Cap not only face a tough as hell villain but, I want this film to be personal. A war film. There's a scene in the comics where, Cap's home has been destroyed and all he has left of his family and past (outside of Bucky) is a picture of his mother. We never knew his mother in the films but, it would provide for a very emotional part in the film. Even if it's not that exact scene, something close to it. A nod. Something. Something that brings Cap down emotionally, just because he's adjusted to this world. Doesn't mean he doesn't miss the past. Doesn't mean he's not sad about losing loved ones. He's got nothing in the world. He's essentially reborn, starting fresh. Let's see that really come out. Hydra wants Captain America dead. Strike him where it hurts. Anyone who has seen Snowpiercer knows that Chris Evans has range as an actor, to see this very straight faced, no screwing around attitude character be brought to his knees and to tears would break hearts and provide what I feel could be a powerful scene and performance if done right.

6: Steve Rogers on his own
We all know that Steve doesn't agree with Shield or just the government in general for that matter. Not only do I want to see this progress in the film, I want it to the point that Steve works on his own. Stopping even just pety criminals. In this case, not only do we see Steve LIVE (something many people don't want nor believe will happen) but it offers a satisfying conclusion to his story while him still being Cap and still being a superhero. That's all he knows how to do. What if, the end of Captain America 3 sets up not Civil War but a Civil War kind of storyline where they keep the basic idea of, the governement making superheroes reveal their identities? It would certainly change up the Marvel Cinematic Universe and send Cap into hiding among other things and could cause tension between him and fellow Avengers as Thanos comes.

7: Peggy rest in peace
This is a short bit of the article but, I think this could be definitely a heartbreaking scene in the film. Maybe Steve gets a call from Sharon letting him know what happened. Either way, Peggy's death would devistate Steve and have tears well up. Would this be a necessary scene? Doubtful but, just to see his story with her end would be tragic, heartbreaking and probably tearjerking. I think this could set the tone for the rest of the film in a way I think no one would expect or see coming.

8: Hawkeye
Remember that small team that Cap could possibly form at the end of, Age of Ultron? What if it's the kooky quartet or a version of it? Bringing Hawkeye in the picture could be very exciting and it would provide character development with him wanting to bring down the orginization that he had not known he was working for. His mission with Cap would start in Age of Ultron. Plus, I'm of the belief that it would be best to kill of Black Widow in Age of Ultron. It would again, provide opportunity for great character development for him in the film. Hawkeye has even questioned Cap's leadership at one point and felt he shouldn't lead. Seeing that on film would provide for a fantastic and intense scene between the two. Cap in The Winter Soldier starts to finally be a leader, which would and probably will be expanded upon in Age of Ultron. But, by the end of this film and into Avengers 3, he should be in full leader mode. Throwing in Hawkeye would provide tension as well as questioning for Cap for if he should lead and help further his arc. As alluded to earlier, maybe we get a civil war type story ending where they set up for the basic storyline and that's when Cap becomes the full leader we all know him to be.

Alright guys, that's all I have. What would you guys like to see in, Captain America 3? Comment below with your thoughts on the film and the article.

Don't think they're going to kill the only female hero they have. The fallout from that'd be huge. It has to be due to her own agency and in her own movie wrapping up her own story, not in a guest appearance as a sacrifice for someone else. Her background is still untold.

I say, kill Cap himself.

Good stuff, dude.

I don't think it'd be a good idea to bring Hawkeye in, though. That's just me.

I want to see Sin.

I think she needs to ride ol' red, white, an' blue till the tires blow out, because there's no better way to get at your mortal enemies than fondue-ing their daughter's brains out.

How I wish I could make that movie.

Good list.

Lets be honest, Hawkeye should have been in TWS. Could been the one to rescue Cap, Sam, and Tasha instead of Hill. Not saying Hill should have been replaced, Clint simply should have been added. Instead of Cap having to take two carriers, Clint could of had one.

I also think Pierce is not really dead, his body yes but essence is not. He is the Red Skull, and his daughter is Sin. Crazy theory, but i am sticking to it.

Side note: Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch, the twins, will turn out to be Struckers twin children. Cannot use the Magneto connection, so make them Struckers twins, he had mutant twins in the comics. Strucker is using the mind gem, yes i think Lokis sceptor is the mind gem, to fully control his twins

I AM GROOOOOOOOOOOOT!!

A badass Crossbones would be great. They set it up perfectly.

@MileHighRonin

I was actually genuinely surprised when Pierce didn't turn out to be Red Skull. He was still an evil son of a bitch, that's for sure. He was a solid villain though.

I would love to see more of Emily VanCamp's Sharon Carter. Especially fighting by Cap's and Falcon's side. I feel she was underutilized in TWS.

Sharon fighting Sin would be great to see if the fight is choreographed well.

Also, I hope Peggy dies in AoU instead of Cap 3 since Steve needs to move on or just start dating Peggy in her present old state because if Sharon in the comics is still with old Steve then why can't MCU Steve be with old Peggy?!
