Paul Rudd Says It's "Surreal" Reprising ANT-MAN Role In CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

Though Ant-Man doesn't hit theaters for another four weeks, Paul Rudd has already began filming his second Marvel Cinematic Universe appearance as Scott Lang in Captain America: Civil War. During a recent interview with The Best Show, the actor talked vaguely about the transition from his upcoming solo movie to the 2016 superhero ensemble. "It's been an interesting thing [playing Ant-Man] because I also just went and worked a little bit on Captain America 3," said Paul Rudd after boasting how Ant-Man is coming to fruition. "To be in that Marvel world, but kind of be somewhat in a bubble [on the solo movie] and now to kind of have these experiences where I'm standing opposite Captain America, It's been a surreal ride so far. It's really only just starting."

Paul Rudd didn't say whether or not he's finished shooting scenes for Captain America: Civil War, but filming is still underway in Atlanta, Georgia, and will continue through the summer before moving to Germany, and Iceland. Rumor has it that Scott Lang will get a sleek new costume and take on his Giant Man form, among other things, in the highly-anticipated threequel. However, Paul Rudd kept mum on such things for obvious reasons. In the meantime, he's gearing up for Ant-Man promo duties. "I'm seeing commercials for it now," he said. "It's pretty crazy!" What do you think?

Directed by Anthony & Joe Russo from a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely, Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain. Starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Brühl, Frank Grillo, William Hurt, and Martin Freeman, Captain America: Civil War is set for release on May 6, 2016.
