This time next week, we'll all be getting ready to rush our local theater to catch Marvel Studios' latest sure-to-be blockbuster, Captain Marvel.

Promotion has been coming in fast over the past few days with numerous TV spots and posters doing the rounds, and now EW has unveiled their latest cover, which features a fully suited-up Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) alongside the younger incarnation of Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson).

Early box office tracking previously predicted a $100M+ opening weekend for Captain Marvel, but a new report from Forbes is aiming quite a bit higher. According to them, the space-faring hero's first big-screen adventure could rake in as much as $150 million domestically

This estimate seems to be based primarily on advance ticket sales and might be a tad optimistic, but then again, it never pays to bet against The MCU!

Check out the cover below. along with a batch of new official stills featuring the likes of Vers, Fury, Maria Rambeau, Phil Coulson, Talos, and Goose the cat.

@Jayman627 - Yeah, dont see why people complain about the third act, sure the CGI could have been better, but it was as good as Black Panther's final fight

@dracula - The only real "nitpick" I had was they showed David Thewlis's face under the CGI Ares outfit, but that in no way ruined the third act for me! Even the third act of Black Panther I thought was fine. People just complain to complain these days!

@Jayman627 - I guess the guys face looked weird under tthe helmet, but they needed a face, without a face they might as well have made him a big monster

@dracula - Exactly, and people would've complained about that too! Can't please people these days I guess?

@Jayman627 - I would hace prefered if he looked like a big monster without the actor's face.

Nothing against him, but it just didn't look good or menacing enough.

@Jayman627 -
I think the third act dropped the ball. It should have been a 'warning' on the nature of humanity.

Wonder Woman thinks that she can stop all evil/wars by killing a single person, believing them to be 'Ares'. Turns out that killing the leader does not solve everything.

She has to cope with that, realising humanity is more complicated than she thought. She then has to lose Steve in a heartbreaking scene, being too shocked by being wrong to respond to him or realise what is happening. Then Steve dies, Wonder Woman snaps, defeats the remaining bad guys and then abandons humanity.

Really looking forward to seeing Larson and Jackson share the screen together, they love working with each other (was revealed earlier today that Larson actually requested Jackson be in the film because they are really good friends) and you can tell they play off each other well.
