CAPTAIN MARVEL Deleted Scene Shows A Happier Moment Between Vers And Yon-Rogg

CAPTAIN MARVEL Deleted Scene Shows A Happier Moment Between Vers And Yon-Rogg

It seems an earlier version of the Captain Marvel script was going to use a scene where Yon-Rogg teaches Kree recruits about the Skrulls as a moment to define the ongoing war between the two factions.

Yon Rogg teaches young Kree students about the dangers of facing their chief enemy, the Skrulls, in this deleted scene from the home video release of Captain Marvel.

Of course, Captain Marvel will also be available to watch on Day 1 of Disney+, which launches on November 12 in the U.S. Check out the deleted scene below, which definitely feels as if it could've been left in the final cut.

I read the title and i thought it was Carol and Yon getting it on after work out. That would have been HOT

Honestly can’t wait to get this on 4K. Finally buying a 4K tv so I can watch it and Avengers Endgame in UHD. I have faith in the franchise because just like how the first Captain America wasn’t a lot of people’s favorite movie Marvel will fine tune the sequel and make it better than the first.

@PantherKing - You're right. Feige should fire Boden and Fleck and get a better director.

I wonder if the whole "the Supreme Intelligence is too great for us to comprehend its true form" is something for real or if the kree are just bullsh*tting and mistifying it on purpose because "hey, our greatest military mind and leader is a giant, ugly head in a jar, ok?"

and I miss the good ol' Cap Marvel threads, they were like a box of chocolate, except you got all the flavors you don't like every time.

Wouldn't have mind the scene in the movie, I like how Carol fired back at Yon-Rogg if he was or not a Skrull.

It’s a fun little scene, but I think it would have reunited the pacing.

@PeenWeinersteen - It was Marketing Genius to put this awful movie in between Infinity War and Endgame!
Disney made you believe you had to suffer through this to know what was going to happen in Endgame.

I was wondering if Emily Blunt could’ve saved this movie.
Based on this deleted scene I am guessing not.
The writing and Directing is too bland to be overcome by anyone.
Hell, Jude Law can barely rise above this material.

@blitzburgh - HELL NO!
Captain Marvel made have made a lot more money but Shazam was a fun movie with heart.

Captain Marvel was flat and uninspiring.
Brie was just one part of the problem.
The writing and direction was also bad.

@madhombre - no way Shazam was a kiddie movie and Levi was terrible

After rewatching Endgame, I kind of feel the MCU doesn't need any other Captain Marvel sequels. I would honestly prefer a Thor 4 more than a Captain Marvel 2. I feel that her introduction for the MCU was to battle Thanos. And as we saw in Endgame she played such a tiny role she was damn near forgettable. Nebula shined the most in my opinion.

I wouldn't mind Carol being a glorified cameo in any space MCU film. Like the Nick Fury of the cosmic side.

Captain America: The First Avenger and Captain Marvel both in my top when it comes to the MCU movies. Also, whoever writers and directors the Captain Marvel sequels somebody still going issues with writing and directing in this movies.
