While we're expecting one final look at Captain Marvel to arrive during the Super Bowl, the Marvel Studios movie is the focus of this month's Empire Magazine and we have all the new stills for you here.
As you can see, we have some awesome shots of the members of Starforce as well as some insight into what Brie Larson's Carol Danvers will be getting up to on Earth. Perhaps the coolest image here is Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva as there's an awful lot of excitement among fans about seeing that villain brought to the big screen.
We'll have details from the issue for you later today but these stills definitely reveal some fresh details about Captain Marvel and what we should expect from Marvel Studios' first female-led blockbuster.

Based on the damage to her suit here, it appears as if Carol Danvers has really been put through the wringer at this point in the movie but there's no denying that she looks downright awesome.
We've not really seen much at all of Bron-Charr (he's not even got his own action figure or Funko Pop) so it will be very interesting seeing if he just ends up being cannon fodder in the movie.
Something tells me that Minn-Erva could be a breakout character in Captain Marvel as she certainly looks very cool and is played by the always fantastic Gemma Chan. We'll have to wait and see!
When this green suit was revealed in set photos, fans were horrified: surely this wasn't replacing the classic version? We've since learned that it's her Starforce uniform and it looks awesome.
While it's been said that Captain Marvel doesn't serve as an origin story for Ronan the Accuser, Marvel Studios is definitely keeping his role under wraps so common sense says we'll get some teases.
A pensive Carol Danvers meets with Nick Fury in this shot and her visit to a bar on Earth presumably has something to do with the fact that she's trying to discover who exactly she used to be.
Is it me or is Nick Fury giving off something of a villainous vibe here? It would certainly be one heck of a twist for the S.H.I.E.L.D. Director to have been a Skrull for the past two decades...
Carol meets up with her friend Maria Rambeau, the mother of the girl who will grow up to also be known as Captain Marvel. Whether or not the same thing will happen in the MCU isn't clear.
Captain Marvel powers up into what will seemingly be known as her Binary form. Common sense says she will unleash this against Thanos later this year and that spells doom for the Mad Titan.
