Captain Marvel is fast approaching and the movie promises to take us Higher. Further. Faster. 

This amazing new poster by Matt Ferguson also does that and it will be available exclusively in Odeon Cinemas next month. As you can see, it puts the spotlight squarely on Carol Danvers as she suits up and blasts into outer space in her classic comic book costume.

It's a gorgeous piece of artwork and will look good on any fan's wall. It also more than makes up for that somewhat underwhelming international poster which has earned Green Lantern comparisons!

Ya know, this "Highter, Further and Faster" tagline always reminds me of "Up Up and Away" and to think Marvel Comics completely changed the character over the years, especially recently because of the movie, and now we have some bs thing like "Car-Ell" which is just...oh man... :P


As for the poster, i agree with Dr.Richards. :3

Seeing them embrace the 'Higher, Further, Faster' tagline so strongly makes me wonder why they never went all out with 'Who's Side Are You On?' with Civil War

For me less is more. I think sometimes Photoshop ruined the movie poster. It's a cliché but they really don't make like the use to.

What will it take to make Josh understand that this costume is Carol Danvers CURRENT uniform and not her CLASSIC outfit?!? Her ORIGINAL costume represents her "classic" look!

The most iconic of Marvel Comics' Captain Marvel costumes would be the one that Mar-Vell wore in the mid-70s when he had blonde hair and wore the Nega-bands!

Has @JoshWilding ever posted an article without some egregious error or outrageous claim? This guy desperately needs to be edited before he posts anything!!!
