Release Date: April 12th
Set for release on April 12th, fans are definitely on board with David Harbour playing Hellboy but everything else from the movie has so far received something of a mixed response. It definitely looks like a B-Movie but that could go in its favour and people are clearly starting to get excited!
Release Date: May 24th
We actually got our first proper look at Aladdin today and while Will Smith's Genie has got people talking (and not necessarily for the right reasons), Guy Ritchie's movie has potential. Honestly, it's either going to be amazing or awful and it will be interesting seeing which way it goes.
Release Date: October 9th
Comic book fans may not be happy with some of the changes being made to the Clown Prince of Crime's origin story but excitement is swirling around what Joaquin Phoenix is going to bring to the role. Throw in the fact that it may shake up Batman's backstory too and it could be one to remember.
7. Glass
Release Date: January 18th
Minds were blown when Split ended up being set in the same world as Unbreakable and it's easy to see why there's such an awful lot of anticipation surrounding a movie which brings together all these characters for a very different sort of "comic book" movie. Glass looks seriously awesome.
Release Date: September 6th
It: Chapter 1 ranks as one of the best Stephen King adaptations of all-time and regardless of whether or not you've read the book, there's a long list of reasons to be excited for the sequel. Seeing actors like James McAvoy and Jessica Chastain taking on Pennywise is obviously one of them.
5. The Irishman
Release Date: Unknown
We haven't covered this movie here on CBM but Martin Scorcese's next film is shrouded in secrecy and we haven't seen so much as a single official image. What we do know is that it tells the story of a mob hitman's possible involvement in the slaying of Jimmy Hoffa and Robert DeNiro stars.
4. Once Upon A Time In Hollywood
Release Date: August 9th
Quentin Tarantino's next project is much different to his past efforts as he's assembled an incredible all-star cast to tell the story of Charles Manson and his Helter Skelter heyday. Margot Robbie plays Sharon Tate and other cast members include Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Kurt Russell.
Release Date: June 7th
Well, I certainly didn't see this coming! Simon Kinberg is taking the helm of what's basically an X-Men: The Last Stand remake and it will be the final X-Men movie before the heroes are rebooted for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Honestly, it's shame to see this here rather than Star Wars!
Release Date: April 26th
That's right, it's not #1! With the trailer breaking records earlier this month, it's no great surprise that it's ranked so highly and seeing how Earth's Mightiest Heroes handle not only all those casualties but a victorious Thanos has had everyone talking. It's going to be truly epic, folks...
Release Date: March 8th
Sorry Shazam!, another Captain Marvel has taken the crown! Brie Larson is set to finally land in the Marvel Cinematic Universe next year and with Kevin Feige billing her as the most powerful hero in this shared world, it's not hard to see why fans want to see Carol Danvers kicking some butt.
